Dude. SO many things to say. First of all lemme say this was absolutely fantastic. As one guitar player to another just brilliantly arranged. Your transitions for themes have gotten fantastic. You can definitely see how much you have improved over time! It's insane. I've been a fan for a looooooong time and I'm glad I caught this one! I got CHILLS when you did #3 and I geeked out when I heard Melee. So much win. Also, as an Audio Engineer Major and having to take classical lessons I was cringing watching your nails go over your bass lmfao I was so worried they would break. But seriously dude excellent job. I cant wait to see more!

Hmm... I don't honestly believe that to be a common thing to be said about metal. Never heard that at least. Instead, usually people say that it's "just screaming" or "noise" or "too much distortion" or "aggressive" (which is just as stupid of course). But really.... it's the arrangement of a(ny) composition that in most cases defines the genre. In this case, a "metal"/rock arrangement. Melodies themselves are not that often super-specific to any genre. For example, you could put "blues" pretty much anywhere without thereby instantly defining the genre - could be rock, jazz, classical, crazy proge, whatever

Paper Mario please! I'd really like a revisit to the game, the soundtrack is really one of it's many strong points. It made the experience all the more rewarding. +Doopliss The first two are the only real paper mario games lol personally i like the music from the n64 version more but that opinion in no way shadows my love for the second game. Out of nostalgia n64 will always hold a special place in my heart but ttyd is an overall better game and my favourite in the series. The new mario and luigi crossover does not look promising, but im holding onto hope for a real paper mario game in the near future.

Joel Pequeno I actually fully agree with you. I do also love the original paper mario and its music. But i do have a preference to the second game. So much that i have both soundtracks downloaded, i can name every song from any part of both games, playing them was a great experience. But with that said, i feel the paper mario quality was at a positive slope until it totally changed in the third and fourth.
