So, yeah. I've sort of kept an eye on your channel ever since I saw you express your interest in Soy Luna despite not knowing Spanish, and then using it to learn Spanish. I was like this with Violetta while it was still on in Latin America, viewing from the US, and I appreciate seeing a channel with a good following talking about these shows that don't get much attention otherwise in English-speaking circles because I feel like the gringos are missing out (and seeing someone who isn't Latinx like me and most of the other American fans I know talk about them as well). I wasn't able to click well with Soy Luna and only saw the first season; so, while still cool, I wasn't as excited as I am now to see you talking about and critiquing Violetta. I look forward to seeing your future videos about the Latin American shows in general. :) BTW - I agree that a lot of the S1 songs were just okay with only a few standing out. S2 and S3 had a lot of bops, though.

However, I do like the León version a lot better (I just love Jorge's voice), but this song is so forgotten about since it's not used later and not on any of the albums. I was trying to look for a comment that talked about this song to see if anyone remembered it so I'm glad you commented this! I remember watching season one of Violetta like a year ago and not really liking any of the songs (they've grown on me now though) and then I heard this song and loved it! But I tried searching and searching for what the song was called but couldn't find it so I couldn't listen to it until I found it a couple months ago and now I listen to it all the time!! The original singers of ahí estaré is Jorge Blanco (León) and Diana Santos when he was still on Cuando Toca la Campana before starting Violetta. I honestly prefer Jorge’s version over Facu and Mechi. Also Te Esperaré a cover from Cuando Toca la Campana sung by the girl who plays Andrés’s sister.

Tienes El Talent has a soft spot in my heart. When I was 8 and Violetta season 1 was airing, I moved to another city and I discover that I was going to have Spanish classes for the first time (I'm Brazilian by the way), so I memorized the lyrics of this song to impress my classmates lol I still remember the first day of Spanish class, the teacher was talking about hair colors in Spanish and I was singing in my head GRITA FUERTE QUE TIENES EL TALENTO ;3 I was a weird kid. I did the same with Te Creo, but Tienes El Talento never got old while Te Creo did. Ser Mejor is also an amazing song. I remember it being stuck in my head in third grade. I guess Violetta really taught me Spanish

I never really loved Violetta, but growing up in Brazil I just got used to the songs because they would play in LITERALLY every commercial break! So listening to them again in this video made me feel very nostalgic, my favorite song is definitely Habla si puedes, I would stop everything I was doing during the break to sit and watch the videoclip and sing along (even though my Spanish was never the best and still isn't) because the song just made me feel so happy

I live in Latin America, when Violeta was airing I didn't really watch it, but Disney was always showing clips of the songs in commercial breaks and hearing them all over again really brings me back.
