I think "Soy mi mejor momento" is my favorite song in the whole series. Very deep as it is based on a letter written by Maria for Violetta. She told her daughter to always be herself. Also very deep as it is the moment when German and Violetta become reconciled after a long period of trouble in their relationship. It is a wonderful song. Its music moves me.

I haven't watched Violetta in such a long time and with your videos I feel like I'm reliving it all over again. I first watched the second season back in 2013, and I can't believe I still remember all of the songs! I definitely agree with number one, it's my favorite song of the season if not the entire show. There's some moments that I rewatch today and still cry about them because they're so freaking powerful! Algo se enciende is one of them, the song is just so good and emotional and even more if you remember the scene while singing. Till this day I can't fully hear Ser Mejor, Algo se enciende, and Crecimos Juntos without tearing up. I think they released a lot of the songs from season two in the live album because they would normally release two album for one single season. I remember struggling a lot because I couldn't find the full version of many songs until that album came out. I completely forgot the storyline you mentioned in the end, but it's true that it wasn't talked about it at the time. I guess racism is not that big of a problem here in Latin America, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Or the fandom just passed by it.

I'm not american, so I dont know much about their culture and history, especially about the different ways racism was showned back in the day. I didnt even know until now that I searched for this scene we are talking about, how hurtful and not funny that is. I'm really sorry that happened and I'm not defending anybody, but I also want to say that the people that made this show are also from another culture, so I dont think they knew how offensive that can be, probably that whole idea came out of pure ignorance. Now, with everything that has happened, especially this last weeks, I think it is time for everybody to take some time and pay attention, listen and learn about this topic and also take some time to analyze the things that we have done and said, wether it was out of ignorance or not, so we can learn from our mistakes and do better, because racism in any shape or form must stop.

JossieM16 It’s ok I feel like if people become educated about racial injustices people will realize what’s wrong. Though it‘s definitely horrible Disney did this because this helped imprint a mind kids heads that black facing was ok. Like I remember watching this scene feeling uncomfortable but not understanding why I was uncomfortable or why it was wrong. I didn’t realize until later rewatching the show after finding out what blackface was and seeing the scene. But Disney should have not done it at all due to the young audience.
