I have been waiting for a video like this. Thank you!! I finally figured out what you meant by side to side when drying. It really helps me with volume and those small parts/cowlicks throughout my crown. I’ve also been experimenting with the Innersense Dry Shampoo in the root and that has been helping, too. I haven’t gotten the Sea Salt Spray yet. I really want to try that. Your videos are really helpful.

I recently learned that ppl clip their hair at the roots to get that lift from the scalp. My hair does that naturally and I hate it. I always try to press it down. It's always so funny to me how we want what we don't have 😂

It looks like her natural color is the one on the roots, which is darker. That means she had to bleach it because if you only use dye you can't make your hair lighter, only darker. I hope that made sense and helped you in any way.

The Denman brush is great for definition! But for me it takes away my volume because my clumps weigh my hair down 😭

I use Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie do you think that’s too heavy??

It might be, it might not be. The shea butter in shea moisture products is heavy for some, but not for all. If you feel like its heavy, try dialing back on the amount you use THEN try cutting it out all together to see the difference in your results. I hope that helps!
