i went kayaking off the shore of a beach in puerto rico and my iPhone fell off the kayak with my nuud life proof case but i didn't notice. when i got back i to shore realized my phone was gone so my friends and i put on some snorkels to look for my phone. thank god the water was clear but it still took 1hr to find it in the 25ft water about 400-500 ft away from shore but my phone still worked(((((:

The reason why most of those cases failed is because there all designed for the specific shape of the phone, and you put a tissue in the back of them which put stress where there shouldn't be stress and stretched the cases in odd places which opened up the sides just enough for water to get in, that's why most of them were soaked on the inside...

Bessmate and the Joto Pouch are the cheapest ones. Bessmate is around 20$ and the Joto Pouch is around 10$. Seido Obex is about 50-70$. The dog and bone wetsuit is very expensive but probably worth it, it's 80$. I recommend the Bessmate one because it's not as ghetto as the pouch but it's really up to you ;) Hope that helped for whoever is reading this ;)

Most waterproof cases recommend that you even take off your screen protector because even that little bit of extra width could compromise the integrity of the case. The little piece of napkin could've affected the results.
