Diamond Collection Hisoka was ridiculous. He had like 5 different outfits in the anime and they do a Diamond version for the HT Exclusive. I'll never get over that

With Zenitsu the lightning doesn’t bother me too much because the lightning in the show is kinda similar but they should’ve made his eyes open with the all white and made it glow

I feel you didn’t talk enough about Metallic Nezuko lol: -Doesn’t make any sense for the character -The fourth time the common is repackaged -It could’ve been a solid GITD if they added flames around her instead of just a non sense metallic recolor -Such a terrible Pop in the same con as other amazing exclusives from other anime -Just two weeks later the Running Nezuko Pop got announced I understand Demon Slayer Pops being so limited creativity-wise right now (trust me,Demon Slayer Pops are going to be MINDBLOWING once the anime ends which is closer than we think) but that doesn’t excuse such a terrible and lazy Pop,definitely the worst one so far.

Chase Gyomei could be decent if it wasn’t for it being so overpriced,like I’d rather get the regular Gyomei (which I have) plus two more Pops instead of the chase lol

Personally I love the Zenitsu funimation exclusive it never came to the Uk yet I managed to get it and it’s special to me because of that.

I feel the biggest problem with Funimation Zenitsu is that it was a missed opportunity,it should’ve been a GITD,but still it’s the best Zenitsu Pop available in my opinion and most likely will be until season 4 comes out.

I'm looking forward to Funko 2023. For better or for worse, it'll be interesting to see. The multipacks are cool, but only if they're announced the same time as the others in the line to give people options, same with the Pop & Tees. But yeah, when they release them later after collectors already copped from initial releases, it's a big cash grab and should be frowned upon, agreed

For My Hero Academia I just didn’t like the fact that they gave priority to so many fodder Class 1-B students instead of more popular Class 1-A characters,I mean how did characters like Ibara and Jurota get a Pop before Denki and Mineta? I feel the worst one was Setsuna,I legit couldn’t remember anything about her,her quirk,her name,her existence,nothing,not to mention her super basic mold,personally I feel the only Class 1-B characters that needed/deserved Pops were Kendo,Tetsutetsu and Monoma.

honestly I don’t see too much more they could’ve done with the Gyomei. They couldn’t have added the boulders because the pops go by were the anime was instead of the manga. I think honestly Funko did the best they could with that one.

I have the 10in Deku in my collection and I personally really love it! I don’t have the smaller versions of the same mold, but I just love the detail and getting to see Eri on Deku’d back! I could understand for completionists why it’s frustrating tho

Funko is hilarious at this point, I have walked into gamestop 10 times this month and they have like an overstock of 30 tee bundles that are all half off discount and nobody even looks at them. Collecting pops has really just boiled down to a very very small niche group now because the hype is done.

Worst? Female titan glow in the dark. The box is so thin (can be tear easily) and plastic is not that hard to hold her head (that’s why she is leaning forward). The glow is irrelevant too

The only thing that ruins it is the face cuz the eyes and brows was nothing like her character also I would think that would only make sense to be 18 inches are major ones like the titans cuz of the huge height difference between them and the Survey Corp members

Yeah,Pony is probably one of the most unique looking MHA characters and especially from Class 1-B yet they made her Pop look like just a generic student,along with Kendo she’s the only Class 1-B Pop I have but still I didn’t realize how bad the details were until I got home lol

Tsunade with her Byakugou is definitely the worst. If they were going to do that, they should have at least chromed her out or something. Hopefully we'll get her in a jump and punch pose eventually. Tobi's I actually liked because thats how i wanted the original to be, but yeah, they could have at least added the kamui to him.

my top 10 worst anime pops of 2022: 10.Battle Levi (aot) as much as i love it, the coloring for it makes me not like it 9. muichiro (demon slayer) i like it but coulda been better for a con 8.gyomei (demon slayer) bad chase variant 7.Cell 2nd form (dbz) idk js looks unappealing 6.Female Titan (aot) coulda been better 5.Pony (mha) looks weird 4.Pain gitd (naruto) same as common 3.Killer Bee (naruto) weak chase 2.Setsuna (mha) looks ugly asf 1. 4 Pack Demon Slayer, not needed jjk 4 pack is better bc we don't have that many of them

Got Kawaki to glow for a grand 1.5 seconds! We have that and then the force ghost three pack that will consistently (and continuously) glow whenever it's dark enough.

First (Edit after watching the video) - QOTD: I couldn’t name 10 but here are 9 (in no set order) 1) Formal Levi, 2) another Hatsune Miki 3) Bayonetta pops (only because it didn’t need to be in a boxset) 4) Itadori with knife & glasses (neither of these should be a con exclusive and I put them together) 5) Komugi - meh chase 6) Kurogiri GITD version esp since the eyes have a weak glow 7)Astroboy (only due to him having 3 variants of the same look) 8) Diamond Hisoka 9) Funko exc Yu-Gi-Oh silent swordsman

Zenitsu was more of a Cash Grab from Funko, Common exclusive to a Glowing Varient. Milking pops is funkos real specialty. next year i wonder what funkos gonna milk next in future 2, 3, 4 packs SMFH!

Wouldve like to see more pops be critiqued for their design then being a repaint. We could have a whole list of bad repaints and this is pretty much it, only zenitsu was critiziced for design and im probably in the minority for wanting to see more of that content

Some of the shirt bundles I don’t mind (like for Frieza i don’t care about the pop but the shirt looks awesome, should have gave it energy and made a glow similar to the keychain from the GameStop box). Also I definitely agree with the repackaged ones, honestly they should have repacked the glow for Todoroki and Endeavor despite being exclusive to different places (Pax South and Amazon exclusive), but Funko could possibly have the power to do that so why not? I feel they should do more than repacked commons or change it up somehow, like the 5 pack Nightmare Before Christmas Black Light are commons but they all glow, or like Bad Batch 5 pack are all commons but they don’t have their helmets and have their unique heads, something than just making bundles of overstock, throwing an awesome exclusive in it and hoping it’ll sell.

You can't win them all so there will always be pops we don't like, i absolutely agree with the repacked 2/3/4 packs, i refuse to buy them no matter how much i love gitd pops (main collection). The zenitsu gitd is awesome but i am not spending £40+ on 1 4" inch pop at retail, no sir i will not. Demon Slayer pops in general has just been very meh, apart from Tanjiro water dragon the rest are just so ordinary for such an extra ordinary show. How long have we waited for a Rengoku pop, and then when it comes (coming) its so damn plain. Wish funko would just do 1 or 2 Demon Slayer pops that just smashes everything out the park, a proper zenitsu gitd with yellow and blue glow all over. But there have been some amazing anime pops this year, looking forward to your top 10. All i am saying full hollowfied ichigo chase better in the the top 5! we know luffy and sunny will be up there too

Demon Slayer Pops are so limited because they only have the season 1 license,once they get season 2 licenses Pops will change drastically
