*Thank God that Latin America still uses the original intro for The Amazing World of Gumball! :D* And yeah, as much as I love Regular Show, I despise it's lack of a real Intro. However, it actually works for the show. Seeing as how the main gimmick of Regular Show it's to trick people into thinking it's a "normal" show and when you watch it you realize it's anything but. Maybe an Intro showing you how Regular Show is would ruin the surprise.

***** Kinda yes and kinda not. When in comes to the anime images themselves they use the source material, but when dubbing most of the time they used the english dubb. One big example is Digimon 3: you have the main theme song and outro song dubbed in spanish, you have the original japanese song during the episodes, but most of the characters name that changed in the english dubbed are present here, like Dukemon thats called Gallantmon in english and spanish dubb

I was surprised that you didn’t mention Happy Tree Friends once during this video. The intro is a pain to listen to. Years ago, my mom and dad were up early in the morning to get my younger brother ready for school and they usually turned on a cartoon for background noise while they got around. However, I woke up and heard the TV, realizing how annoying the show sounded in the living room. The realization hit me and my heart dropped. Let’s just say that the next thing I heard was my little brother crying.

Not only did they censor all blood and violence to make it kid friendly, they changed every dialog that even mentioned violence. They never say "kill" or "die" they always use something like "defeat" or "disappear". And it got extremely laughable in shippuuden when they started just changing color of the blood or turning it into water.

The general association with an intro is that you expect it to actually have some form of music, I'm pretty sure he's criticising them for their lack of music. He can't exactly talk about intros so sparse that for 5 minutes, in a sense the intros with the lack of music are the worst because they're not even putting the effort in to make a song. It's better to have a bad piece of homework rather than to hand no homework in at all.

I can't stand that show, 'nor it's intro, in no small part due to a relative of mine having a toy that would play that show's theme song if you pressed a button on it, and for the fact that she's to young to know not to press the button over and over. The Italian version of the song is a lot more listenable, though.

***** It's weird indeed... Germany usually has a rather high quality in terms of intros. For example, they also used the original Japanese intros for Dragonball or Digimon, with a good translation and decent singer. I don't know what went wrong with Naruto's retarded intro, particularly that Sakura part I'm glad Rebel Taxi picked up, because that really bothered me even back then, lol. I feel like whoever wrote the intro knew jack shit about the show. Believe it!

I Understand some edits were nonsensical and The less i say what happens to one piece the better. But come on I found the English Pokemon themes just as good as their japanese counterparts. But then again Pokemon didn't suffer as much as, say One piece or Yu-gi-oh! did.

Honestly some of those 4Kids intros grew on me. Its a guilty pleasure I am glad to enjoy. Christian Schmude I agree. Despite all of the backlash, I have very good and very many memories that 4Kids gave me: TMNT 2000s, Yu-Gi-Oh, and anime in general; it helped me become an otaku after all. Plus I love the voice that they used for Jack Atlas. :)

To be fair to 4Kids, the various Pokemon themes they made were pretty good (even if admittedly, as time went on, they all kind of blended together). And the English Kirby Right Back At Ya intro has grown on me. Other than that though...yeah, I don't think I can really vouch for anything else...

I actually can. The goods they had included their version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (which I hold to be the best representation of TMNT out of all of the TV shows though the jury is out on the last two seasons), the Crash Test Dummies, and their dubs of Yu-Gi-Oh! (Duel Monsters and ZEXAL mainly, GX and 5D's not so much), Ultimate Muscle, Cubix: Robots for Everyone, Dinosaur King, and Tai Chi Chasers. I would also include Viva Piñata and Funky Cops but I never saw either.

Ah yes, Sanji and his iconic....sucker, battling the forces of the Super soaker navy. One Piece is now my favorite show, but even as a kid I thought the 4kids version was fucking stupid, and it has irreparably damaged One Piece's reputation in the west. I still come across people who think the 4kids version is the real one. On antother note, Gumball has a really awesome theme, that's just rude of American CN to deny us of it.

Christian Schmude it was my understanding that 4kids bought the rights to dub it in some sort of package deal, and they obtained the rights without actually watching any of the episodes...yeah cause One Piece isn't one of the most beloved and important anime of all time or anything, just stick it in as a bonus with the real treasures such as Fighting Foodons, Kirby and Ultimate Muscle.
