Memes in a lot of cases only have a shelf life of a few months in which they are funny/entertaining but it takes a long time to make a show. By the time an episode is ready to be shown, the amount of time that has passed might age the jokes poorly when they rely on their audience to not be tired of the repeated jokes yet and its even worse when the episodes are made well in advance.Thats just my take on it anyways.

The thing about Adult Party Cartoon, well, we often see limits and rules as restricting creativity, but sometimes it can encourage creativity. The original Ren & Stimpy show had to be creative and clever to sneak in all of that adult humor. With Adult Party, they had few limits and could just put it all out, but then it lacked what made the original show funny.

And here is something that it's gonna disgust you: On IMDB Loonatics Unleashed has only 5.6 score . Pretty awful, huh? But all the while Teen Titans Go, a cartoon that it has destroyed Cartoon Network's reputation, it has AWFUL jokes, it has ruined the Original Teen Titans characters and it's gonna get re-newed for 7th Season it has 5.3 score! +PCachu I thought they rebranded it into something merely different after CN cancelled the Thundercats reboot, and they didn't want to abandoned it just for that reason. Man, I wish they didn't cancel that show after one season. as it was a great reboot that some would argue to be better than the original, while Legends Of Chima had about 2 or 3 seasons before it got cancelled. Oh well, at least it's now replaced with Nexo Knights, which is a better show in my opinion.

Why make a remake of something kids don't really want to see? Hell, if they made Chowder, Camp Lazlo, Flapjack, Billy&Mandy or Foster Imaginary Friends into A Continuation/Same Style and not "I didn't see it, but it has a cool name" creator, There wouldn't be so much bad reviews and so much people that grew up with CN would be happy, It seems like CN is the only show with alot of remakes. I don't even get WHY they're doing that. The original came out in 2005, and we've had new shows of it every few years- why the HELL do we need a remake of something that never ended in the first place? At least with Teen Titans and PPGs the original ended and was gone for a long time. Doesn't make them any better but at least I see why they were made.

The thing with Teen Titans Go is that Teen Titans was its own, specific interpretation of the characters that was different from the comics or anything else that had been done. So when the show was cancelled, we figured we would never see the characters we had grown to love in the same capacity again. Then they announced a reboot with the same characters, same character designs, same voice actors... and turned it into a comedy slice-of-life cartoon that flanderized them all until they were practically unrecognizable. When taken on its own it's serviceable, but as a reboot it crushed our hopes completely.

Lily if no one told me it was suppose to be about trans people I never would have realized it because the situation they used just didn't translate. It felt as much like the trans issue as that episode of Dexter's lab where Dexter turned Dee Dee into a pony. Horn sweet horn just felt like a poorly written and boring episode, the fact that it was suppose to be about trans issue makes it worse because it really didnt work.

Should have had an honorable mention to Code Lyoko: Evolution, as it was basically another case of Shaolin Showdown/Chronicles; a revival that struggles to be like the original. Beyond the visuals for the CG world, the live-action was just a bizarre change that made no sense and they ruined the ending of the original by reviving the main villain despite bringing in a new one who could have easily been his own threat instead of just a secondary one. And while Scooby Doo could use a few years chilling out, can't deny that the movies they still make usually are quite solid, with Mystery Inc. being the best reimagining thus far.

David Raymond Well, I'd have to agree. Using slang makes the show very dated, and twerking is really a lazy way to do an adult joke. Mojo becoming a drug dealer could be pretty clever if delivered in a way that it would fly over kids' heads. Blossom looking like Cartman isn't so bad. It's just a subtle reference to a show that's made for adults. It's not inappropriate for kids. When the kids watch the scene, they won't think anything of it, then when they get older and learn what South Park is, they'll get the reference. The girls playing pretend opens up some pretty creative possibilities.
