After some of the recent chapters where we got to see more of what the Shiro Shiro no Mi (castle castle fruit) is capable of, I must say I was completely wrong about it. Though it is much more useful with an army of people to remain inside it, it is fully capable of being a powerful and useful fruit on it's own. So disregard that fruit being present on this list!

also... If someone were to eat the (Hito Hito no Mi) they would be able to change their body proportions like chopper as seen in manga and anime. What you are saying is not true though. It is said in the anime and manga that if a human were to eat the fruit they would gain no powers and only weaknesses. Your Forgetting that Oda stated that "The human eater would perhaps gain some enlightenment, finding themselves" the only reason there is no more information on the matter is because Oda never needed to develop the devil fruit based on a human eating it. However if he did i would expect him to give that user some kind of advanced human power and allow that user to transform there body like chopper with out intense training like "Bonham" Ep. 781 ... on top of being enlightened and being able to transform into all forms of human

Gilang Firdaus well he ate the mystical model of the human fruit. Which means means his golden form would of been given to chopper, if cooper had eaten the mystical human fruit model, but chopper ate the normal human fruit, and the normal human fruit is pretty useless to humans.

I think the main problem most of these fruit share is that they all got only limited exposure. If Luffy had a different or even no devil fruit at all, and some random one arc enemy had the Gum Gum fruit (especially if he or she were cannon fodder), we'd all think it would be one of the weakest fruits.

The Hito Hito no Mi is not as worthless as you think. According to Oda, if a human ate it, they would become enlightened. Also, Oda has said that if a creature ends up eating a Zoan fruit of their species, they would become an ultimate version of their species.

For all of the fruits on the list, it is mostly up to the user to correctly utilize it. Look at Luffies Fruit - it only helps him against brute force attacks on its own. His attacks are his own inventions that just get enhanced a bit by the rubber element - he figured out how to use it. Califas fruit would allow here to wield incredible strong armor that you can not touch, and water as a weakness? Like for man devil-fruit users (Crocodile anybody?) Doflamingo - he can control strings - that's it. That is a fruit i would say is weak - and yet he managed to make it a powerful weapon. Hito Hito no Mi: Sengoku has a variation of that fruit - it isn't bad at all. (Ok - a rare variation). As for the effects on Humans - we don't know. Only thing Oda said is that it might help people come to enlightenment. Also, as Zoan-type fruits allow you to transform between normally at least 3 variations - maybe you can transform into a younger person and have eternal youth? Or choose between brains and brawn? And why is Corzans "Nagi Nagi no mi" not here? The only use of that is for stealth. Contrary to the other fruits on this list, it is really useless in battle - unless you happen to fight Fujitora and for whatever reason not using his haki.

Until the time skip I would have suggested Brook's Devil Fruit, since it has no effect other than the standard DF weaknesses until you die, and then just lets you keep living as your body gradually decays. The only reason Brook is useful at first is because he happened to be a skilled fighter before he died. But then, astral projection and ice powers happened, so I guess it can be forgiven.

There are no worst or weak devil fruits. Each devil fruit has potentials and its up to the user to discover its abilities. That's goes for Luffy, at first being rubbery and stretch is seemingly all it does, but Luffy push it to the next level by compressing the rubber in gear 2nd and 4th. What I think is an interesting discussion in itself. Should logia types be God types devil fruits? I mean it was super cool to see luffy defeat crocodile with water, and it's safe to see that there won't be a second occurrence like that on the show... It would simply be too strong. How do i beat the magma fruit? With ice? Do I also best the ice fruit with magma/ice? So if eat a logia I am automatically a demi God and everyone else is screwed? Logias real strenght lies in the conjure part now. Zoans can't conjure (at least only a few (the budda budda no mi and the Phoenix fruit) and some perameciad also not (gomo gomo no mi). But we strenght of a logia is still ridiculous. There are so many stenghts, that it is clear why any logia fighter is automatically a serious threat. At least pre new world. Imagine, that you are on one of the 4 seas. You only need to eat a logia and you are more or less automatically the strongest person on this sea. (Although I think about the east blue saga here, and the east blue is known to be the weakest sea of them all.)

What about Vander Decken's DF? It's circumstantial as hell. For one, he has to physically touch his target to mark them; and then there's the fact that even if you pull that off; its still useless if you don't have any weapons nearby.

With the caterpillar guy, it would be much more interesting if he could turn into different caterpillar forms, as there are actually some that, scaled to human proportions, could pose a threat, mostly because of poisonous abilities. It would still be weak comparably to better versions of poison based fruits, but it'd be something at least.

Capone's fruit bothers me. Let's say the devil fruits were created at the dawn of time, no technology or anything. Unless the devil fruits themselves could see into the future and become a MANMADE structure, then this makes no sense. I think that they were created in the void century and that some people at that time had technology that is more advanced than what they have at the present in the story. I also think that the treasure One Piece contains the secrets of the void century, maybe a library or some machines from back then or even a hidden city with people living in it. It would have to be something that Gold Roger wouldn't show of to the world, because otherwise people would know what it was.

Nice list and good job but, I have to disagree with the swamp fruit. It may seem bad but you have to think outside the box. If used properly it could make mudslides, make mud constructs which could use Haki, and the storage is very important and useful. To be honest this and the smoke fruit needs to be switched.

If human eats it, I think it will also give ability to transform into other humanoid form, like strong muscled form, fat, skinny, short, tall, etc. So it's also has it's own uses. And even if I'm wrong, that it won't affect human, it still doesn't deserve the worst place, heck it even doesn't deserve in this list. Why? Because what you said about it being too "circumstantial" is rather a moot argument. True, the chance of this fruit to be found and eaten by animal is VERY circumstantial, but the fact that it is ALREADY eaten by chopper, it's no longer matter whether it's circumstantial or not.
