The core gameplay isn't solid enough for the missions I guess. Cover system and thus surivability is complete trash, stealth just straight up doesn't work except in a handful of specific missions. And there's probably too many ways to instantly fail the entire group by the actions of one player, it's just poorly designed all around. There's plenty of pve coop games that show such games can work just fine, just gta's systems don't work at all like them. Helldivers 2 is perhaps a decent example. Limited lives, insane enemies that can and will kill you pretty quickly, stealth doesn't exactly work, but people love that game. I hope they're actually rethinking a lot of the core systems for gta 6. The game world is excellent, the gameplay is... lacking.

It's much easier to be a new GTA player now than it used to be. A new level 1 player that owns nothing can do treasure hunts plus the Cluckin' Bell farm raid to make lots of cash early on. Then once that player's got enough money to buy the Kosatka and do the Cayo Perico heist, they're basically set. From there it's just a matter of gradually buying up the other good businesses to make money while Cayo is on cooldown. Of course, all this assumes a new player is smart enough to check guides to figure all this out.

Personal take here, as someone with more money than I can really do much with, since I've had basically everything I've wanted or needed, for years. But the dre stuff is just too much work/time for only a mil. Again this is just me. I don't need nor want, to grind money anymore really. Sure, fun and nice to watch the number grow, but I can cough up a couple mil a day by basically doing nothing, and even spending some while fighting people. Which, is ultimately the only reason I play anymore. For new players, taking advantage of every method you can, at least ones that are efficient, is good. And first time bonuses are a plus too. But between everything you listed, dre is just the most time consuming for me. Cayo setups are easy and take maybe 20-30 mins. Mostly depending load times and if things glitch out or bad spawns. Not that I've done them much in recent months, or really much in the past year and some change. But dre stuff just, it's too long, even after completing it, and getting to skip all the waiting around for a call from Franklin. The loading screens alone just add too much. Plus having to go back there for 9 different missions that drag on, I can throw in headhunters and do them in 3 mins or less, make 20k a pop, maybe a payphone hit, etc. And the difference can be small enough (for me anyways) to prefer them. Plus, no loading screens for headhunter, and only 1 skippable one for a payphone. Obviously, do as you please/see fit. But unless you're trying to reach some ultimate goal for your bank account, you could skip that one and be perfectly fine.

Good to see someone else finally acknowledge this. As one of those people, I have gotten so much crap over the years about how I need to quit, or how I'm a bully, or whatever they come up with. Or outsiders complaining because "you're a high level fighting a noob, leave them alone." Like firstly, they picked that fight, it's not my fault I gave them exactly what they wanted and were asking for. Secondly, it's not in my nature to give up. Even if I'm losing, I'm stubborn. And back then, for gta specifically, leaving/passive was the only way out. It also, for me stems from competition/competitiveness. Not necessarily because I need or want to show off or be better than a noob who can barely drive a car straight. It comes from the fact that, if you're looking to pick a fight, you're assuming you have the skill(s) to back it up. Or at the very least, the luck. Its like a midget picking a fight with a heavyweight MMA fighter. They/we, will try to avoid it, but at some point, buttons get pushed too much/too far, and now it just has to happen. I pick fights with modded accounts, griefers, cheaters, etc all the time. On purpose, with the full intent to make them rage because I know they will. It's like fighting the guy holding a knife who wants to attack everyone, and fucking with him and breaking his face in is all but guaranteed for me. So, why not? Hes a bully, he get bullied. That and literally just the fact that I know they scream, yell, cry even, because they can't do good enough in return. It's just too damn funny. But hey, it's my guilty pleasure.

Anywho, assuming so, my guess is you thought that that comment would do something. But sorry, that's not the case. Over 10 years of fighting that trash, you learn every possible move they'll make. Good video. The one thing I would say though revolves around the bunker sell missions, and this is something I wish I'd done a loooong time ago. I used to abide by the "no more than 1/4 full and SELL" rule as well as sell in IO lobbies ONLY, but recently I've been letting it fill to max and just hoping for a Phantom Wedge mission. Even on a full bunker, that can easily be done with one player -- although I will admit it helps if you have a Buzzard to get you back to the bunker after the 1st delivery and a beginner might not have access to one. Yes; there's a chance you will have to quit your sell mission, re-spawn and restart and lose a few bucks in the process but I've never lost more than about $100,000 ***touches wood*** before I finally manage to spawn a Phantom mission. To me, that's worth it because that's still about a million bucks for a sale to Los Santos and that's waaaaay better than a 1/4 sell.

Many contact missions do have a 50k bonus for EACH mission when you complete them for the first time. And the contact missions for Dax (go to Ron, "R" on the map and then you'll have the D missions) have very cool unlocks. The first series of Dax missions (First Dose) unlocks the Acid Lab - a heavily armored vehicle and business that has lots of ingame utility (spawns next to you and entering it removes your wanted level) and makes decent money. The second series of Dax missions (Last Dose) unlocks the Ocelot Virtue FOR FREE, which is an Imani Tech compatible all electric high end hypercar that looks like a La Ferrari and a Lotus Evija combined and can take 2 RPGs without blowing up BEFORE Imani Tech upgrades. Dax is also one of the few characters in GTA that aren't insufferable.

It doesn't spawn next to you like the Sparrow does, the Acid Lab still obeys the laws of spawning a mobile business like the Terrorbite, MOC, or the Avenger. Another Tip. Never do Sell Missions for MC. Only get the business you need for nightclubs and daily drug dealers. 2 Drug Dealer a game day is 125-200,000 dollars and you funnel all your supplies without needing multiple vehicles or needing help. To avoid being raided never be outside as a MC President. I go to the Arcade Basement. If you got the command Center, you can switch to MC President. Simply resupply your businesses and switch back to CEO. No I don't steal the supplies, not much hassle paying for it and you make a profit either way. Save the time and keep it flowing.

Acid lab is also one the best ways to make money in the game. It’s way better than any of the MC business. Obtaining it is a since, it’s basically nearly free. You want to wait for Ron to call you to come help him out, then go to the R in the desert, complete the first and last dose missions (12 unique missions). This will award you 4 things. 600k+, a free 2m+ dollar Imani tech super car, access to fooligan missions, and the acid lab. The fooligan missions will get you 50k each mission but can only be done once every in game day. When I mean the acid lab is basically free is that it costs almost nothing to set up and start making cash. So the acid lab costs 750k which you can put that 600k towards. Then to upgrade it you’ll need to do 10 fooligan missions which is pm another 500k you can use this money to get the production upgrades on the acid lab. Once you get this done you can start making cash. Here are the benefits for the acid lab over other mc businesses: - you can sell/ source supplies from anywhere in the map, since the acid lab is the truck and not the freak shop - much cheaper to operate over mc businesses and much cheaper to obtain. (Only have to pay 60k twice to fill it to the max) -can be sold 2-3 times a day. (I usually sell it 2 times (little over 1m public sales, 6-700k invite only sales) - always gives 1 delivery bike no matter how much product is being sold. So it’s very solo friendly. -generates product much quicker than other MC businesses. - and finally the truck itself as stated in the first part of the video is really good. Can take a lot of rockets and has a really fun ram on the front that can ram cars out the way like the phantom wedge. I’d highly recommend new and returning players do this if haven’t already. The problem with PVP/greifers is that if you don't engage them, they just keep killing you over and over. My current record is being killed by the same player 18 times in 12 minutes and then my game crashed. They were killing me so fast I didn't have time to change lobbies. Rockstar need to create separate lobbies for PVP so the rest of us who just want to get on and either grind or just enjoy the game can do so without being screwed around. It also taints the game to the extent where you no longer want to play it and you also don't want to buy GTA 6 when it finally comes out.
@Croftice15 ай бұрын
You can change to a Story Mode character (mostly Franklin) and then go into another lobby. It's far easier to do, than trying to get into the Online tab to change lobbies. You know the shortcut, right? It's holding left Alt on PC, down on the directional pad on consoles. Encouraging retaliation is a bad idea in general. Just let them have their small "victory". If you try to teach them a lesson, you're only making things worse. Maybe not for you, but for sure others will suffer more and more. It's all psychology, you see. In their mindset you aren't teaching them a lesson, you are "bullying them while they have fun with people" , sure their twisted idea of fun, but that's really it. When you make them rage quit, they will be hungry for revenge and keep bullying others just to feel better. So if you can, just ignore them and change lobbies, you'll do a far better job. They will eventually get bored with others, so this actually is really teaching them something, instead of killing them over and over, forcing them to rage quit. That only reinforces their issue.

When I 1st started back in January of this year I took my night club earnings and bought every MC business I could. I stole every vehicle and saved them for future revenue. The bottom line is to GRIND in public lobbies as much as possible, yeah you will take some losses but in the end I own damn near every business with a net worth of 40 million. I don’t do MC missions I just sell to street pharmacists, I only go into public lobbies either to start wars with other players or to business battle goods to refill my club warehouse.

I've been playing about 2 years now, going on 3. I remember when I first started, I relied on CEO VIP work missions to make money. Specifically the headhunter mission 😭 I managed to break 1 million out of it though. It was pretty much the only way I could make money since I couldn't afford the properties. Now, everything is so different and much easier for me. I could've have millions, higher rank, etc. had I known all I know now.

Correction: The MC businesses, now with the 45 minute timer, allow for the sale of full businesses for a minimum of around 300k. Even the 3 post van sell mission you can complete solo with 5-7 minutes left on the clock. Addendum: I completed 3 post vans using the Oppressor MK II to get back to my MC business in question, so I'm unsure if it's possible with slower means of transit, but even so, you should make a decent wad of cash anyway even on an incomplete sell mission. So the MC businesses are better now, I think even if they haven't actually changed much. Still 500k on a Coke lab sell mission is awesome for low levels.

Anway, right now I have a really small channel on this account which I'm trying to enlarge, and i I make videos of GTA online clips I put together and try to make like a mini GTA online movie, I guess. Anyways, I would really appreciate your help in getting this out there for everyone to see as you're one of my favorite creators! And if you can't help me that's okay too, I still love your videos man! But if you could, that'd be awesome! I mainly watch your videos on my other account. So far my videos are not perfect, so if you have some editing tips too that would be helpful as well, but I would really appreciate any help I can get.

Now, we have the cluckin' bell farm raid to make a bit of cash, but it might still be complicated for a low level player with limited equipment and knowledge of game mechanics (to get the stealth finale for example). When I started, Simeon's repo work was (and still kind of is) a good payout as most of the missions only last a couple minutes for $25-40k payout. Other contact missions, like madrazzo's dispatch, ULP and others are too long for how much they pay. Better do VIP work instead. Also, on PC, it took me quite long to find a comprehensive guide on what each graphics setting does and how to optimize it. Up until last year, I always had some FPS drops at night in certain areas of the map even I have a fairly powerful PC (i.e *a lot* better than the recommended configuration, so I assumed I can play in max settings). Since then I adjusted my settings to lower some visuals that had little to no visual impact, but huge performance impact and I run at steady 60 fps all the time.

Big one: Grinding way too much is a BIG mistake. Yes, money is important in Los Santos. But if you have friends, goofing around, playing random activities we find on the Social Club website, doing heists we haven't tried in a while, or even "protecting" others against griefers/try-hards make this game way different than the rest. This "freedom" is definitely a curse, but we might have a great time as well.

I play on ps5 and im lvl 80 now but when I was a lower level I didn’t have too much trouble killing higher levels. If you’re new focus on maxing out your stats like shooting, strength, and stamina. You need that with combat the most besides max health. The only players I had trouble with were good snipers (I suck at sniping), players spamming explosives from vehicles (mk2, deluxo, etc) the imani buffalo gave me trouble and players spamming explosives like rpg grenade launchers. I find most the competition weak compared to ps3. For lower levels I only recommend selling acid lab public but you have to check the lobby first. If you need help selling with multiple vehicles message people in public lobbies to see if they’re willing to help in a public lobby. If you use the 4 million that they give you at the start correctly you’ll have many business to sell and letting them stack will allow the players helping to make 6 figures in total or more depending on how many businesses you have just by driving

My advice for new players as as much as for experience players is: have fun! Just do stuff you want to do and that you like to do- it is a game not a job! if you do what you like to do you will get enough money anyhow with time.
@omarbasil38605 ай бұрын
Biggest mistake is buying the best things early (like the kosatka and MK2) this way you will get bored of the game quickly, instead what I like to do when I start a new account/character is spin a wheel that determines what should I buy next, that way makes the game more refreshing
@Deo7215 ай бұрын
You're wrong about contact missions. It's a good way for lower level players to learn the game by playing with others. They need to get experience. Contact missions are also fun if someone has never done them. I prefer starting with Contact missions before jumping on heist if you're new to the game. You need experience.
@GQman21215 ай бұрын
Yes, this is very true. I think one of the biggest issues for people who haven't been playing from the start is that over the last two console generations communication and actual teamwork has become so rare. Just talking with people to get an immediate understanding of what is the best solution saves so much time and money.

Cardinal rule, master the knowledge of the streets b4 you indulge in beef. Know the best hideout locations, tunnels, underground stations, buildings with access to hide in or rooftops to land on for sniping. After that get enough bunker research for an Explosive Sniper, Explosive Shotgun,a Railgun and the bouncy pistol (cant remember its name) then you are ready for war with tryhards

One advice in addition to just doing the stuff that you like to do and to have fun is to buy the armoured Kuruma . it is the best vehicle for missions and it is even to a degree good against other players because most of them are trying to shoot you.

Not really, they'll shoot if you're extremely lucky. But most players will have explosives, and higher levels will know the car and not even attempt to shoot you. They'll just boom you Duke o death is the best car to use in free roam for beginners and even experienced players, it's a really fun car Kuruma is only good in pve situations
