I was given a free sample of YSL MYSLF at a fragrance store, and wore it to work the next day. I was surprised to receive several compliments for what I initially thought was quite an average, but decent fragrance. Just shows you that most people are perfectly happy with average fragrances.

YSL's Myself is the best fragrance I've smelled in the last 10 years. Hands down. "Y" is a close second. I love the house of YSL. I like my fragrances fresh and Myself is incredible. I don't care about complements as I wear fragrance for (no pun intended) myself...Also I'm not a fragrance snob 😉

It's not that there is any fragrance in the department stores that is meant to smell bad, it is the direction of the smell that either puts you off or makes you like it. It is however frustrating that all of yesterdays power houses have been bought out and only bring out generic flankers with a little twist whilst surfing on a once great name known for inventive perfumery.

MYSLF was one of the first fragrances I ever sampled and i got a lot of grape from the first whiff. I prefer Y Le Parfum though, it’s more citrusy and is cheaper on discounters

Ive smelled YSL Myself, but the only reason why I never got it was because it smelled too feminine for me. I put some on my arm, and my friends loved the scent. Although they liked it, the femenine-type smell still didn't convince me to purchase a full bottle.

Mont Blanc platinum is a great fragrance. It’s easy to wear smooth fragrance that goes almost for the whole day.. poeple buy fragrances that you like according to your taste and not the hyped ones

I got a tiny sample of Defy. I thought at first that it was "ok..nice enough" ..but it kept growing on me and now i absolutely love it. There's an interesting spice note in the background that i occasionally get whiffs of. I like that it's fresh without being a "freshie". It's not aquatic, salty or shower gel_ish. It's more of a Fall type scent that I'm looking forward to see how it holds up in Spring. If you have a bottle ( either EDT or Parfum ) give it another chance. ..Or, feel free to send me your bottles, you don't need that kind of garbage in your life hahaha

Surprised by CK Defy EDP as the lowest rated. It’s extremely pleasant blue fragrance, smells relatively high quality albeit not particularly unique. Sells for around $30 for a 1.7 oz on discounters, which is a very fair price to me.

I have Chrome parfum and Defy parfum and to me I find them both to be really nice smelling fragrances. The Chrome cools the nostrils when you smell it, probably from the fir resin and it lasts long. Defy parfum has a powerful fresh sweetness almost on the gourmand side and packs quite a punch which lasts. Definitely worth a sample.

Chrome parfum was too pine smelling for me. Liked it at first and then couldn’t do it anymore. I couldn’t pick up anything but pine. I didn’t like the other Defy’s so I haven’t smelled that one.
