Top 10 WORST Rollercoasters

Saving this video to see which coasters I should ride in order to mushify my brain. As a Six Flags Over Georgia repeat visitor, if you want your brain mangled, I'd recommend the Dahlonega Mine Train in terms of family coasters, and the Blue Hawk. Not 100% on the Blue Hawk since I haven't been on it in years, but it used to be the Ninja, and it made my cousin's ear bleed before the remodel since she made the mistake of wearing earrings on the ride. Good times.

Blue Hawk does not bang your head anymore, it has new gen Vekoma trains which have vest restraints not OTSRs

After visiting Over Georgia 8 times, I can say that Blue Hawk is not painful and Dahlonega may be janky, but I’ve always found it to be a fun janky 😭

You should definitely avoid Magnum XL at CP. That is one of the worst rides I’ve ever been on. I still have nightmares about how painful that was.

Honestly you gen Z coaster enthusiasts don't know how good you have it lol. I'm a Millennial (or Gen Z? I'm right on the cut off line) and you don't want to know the amount of utter trash you missed riding during the early 2000s. Villian and Raging Wolf Bob's at Geauga Lake, Hercules at Dorney Park, Mean Streak at Cedar Point, Cobra at La Ronde, and that stupid Chance Toboggan at Lakemount are all defunct and all of them top anything on this list in terms of sucking

Rough isn't bad. Magnum is rough but it does everything perfect and its bearable rough.

mmm I would say rough isn’t always the best. sometimes on woodies it adds intensity but most of the time it’s just bad

Magnum is unbearable. My back was in major pain after that. I can’t believe that ride still exists. Hands down, the worst major coaster I’ve been on.

I'm a gluten for pain apparently 🤣😂 I love viper and Magnum. I still enjoy vekoma Boomerangs and SLCs. I make sure I hit everyone of them any chance I get. Two worst coasters to me are coast rider at Knott's and the now defunct green lantern at magic mountain. Most over rated coaster to me is maverick at cedar point. People say it's their #1 but doesn't even crack my top 50

Rough/old doesn't always mean bad. In the case of the Arrows you listed (Viper, Gemini, Magnum), you've just gotta remember and appreciate that Arrow created and welded all of their track by hand and without computer assistance, which makes for some janky transitions but the layouts are still fun. And Magnum slamming you into the lapbars is the best kind of pain, can't find ejector stronger than that anywhere else lol. Invertigo is great as far as Vekoma boomerangs go, just keep your head forward to eliminate all head-banging. I can agree with your 6-1, although Racer at KI is a fun classic as long as you avoid the wheel seats. My last ride on Racer was in a wheelseat and it jackhammered me so bad that I had back pain for the next week after. Otherwise, my previous rides on it were typically painless and enjoyable.

The Racers was my first coaster and loved it as a kid but yes it did get WAY to rough but was there last year and they have retracted all of it and it was amazing now!!

I’ve ridden all these and don’t necessarily dislike them all as much as you do, but I can agree with your number one pick for sure. It would make my top ten worst coasters, and I’ve ridden a lot. As would, of course, the worst SLCs.

Vortex shouldn’t be at Carowinds it should be at a park like Great Escape or one with only like 3 coasters. Plus if they really wanted a b&m looper just go with a large scale floorless or sit down, or better yet, an rmc t-rex.

I agree that Magnum is one of the worst coasters on the planet. My back and knees we’re almost decimated after this ride. The transitions are insanely bad. I will never ride this again. This coaster is a chiropractor’s dream!
