Gate Key-pers is one of the worst minigames in all of Mario Party for me. It’s a luck minigame so that’s already bad. But unlike most luck minigames which are fun but also stupid, this is one is just boring and stupid. I absolutely hate this minigame.

It especially sucks in the single player mode when the first CPU instantly guesses correctly and you're still stuck playing it out with no way to restart.

Hot Cross Blocks is fun! There’s strategy in trying to figure out what other players want too, and trying to play around that to actually get pieces.

No way. Granite Getaway and All the Marbles are awesome. Just because they’re easy doesn’t mean they’re boring. If anything, Lost and Pound and Tricky Turntable are the real worst ones. They should be on the list.

My first experience with gate key-pers had me picking last against 4 bots. I never even got to pick a key, as each of my opponents got the right key on the right gate first try.

Anybody else not get how Castle Hassle is worse than Sleight of Shell? At least the former requires SOME amount of skill (even though I agree that being allowed to jump would be useful).

I disagree with the first 3 on the list, Squeaky Shakedown is a good coin minigame for me where I feel like I'm good at that one. The motion control 1v3 bow and arrow one I feel is actually one of the few good motion control minigames that feels like it actually works properly and feels mostly balanced between both teams. I really disagree with Granite Getaway, lol. It's fun running away from that boulder.

The one that takes forever in the lava with the tiles to make bridges... I enjoy that one. It makes u have to know the other players. If your playing against the AI I can understand it being less fun and intense

Yeah, I hate Gate Keypers, Arch Rivals, Dorrie Pedal Paddle, hot cross blocks, and Coin Coral, like Gate Keypers and Hot Cross Blocks are both luck based and arch rivals the perspective from front to back is bad, also Dorrie Pedal Paddle and Coin coral are both motion controlled while that is not necessarily a bad thing, I hate how the motion controls work for those two mini-games. Dorrie Pedal Paddle is hard to get the controls right and coin coral it is hard to time your throws right as sometimes I throw immediately when I want to wait, and other times I twirl too long, like I don’t know what causes you to twirl or just plain throw, but that sucks when your character disobeys. Anyways I hate it when I have to get 1st place on those mini-games to get all of the mini-stars and etc.

For me number 7 is by far the worst not because I don't like luck based minigames but because this one is very poorly disigned what I mean is that for me luck based minigames are fun when the "bad option" is only one thing like in bowser big blast or when picking a "bad option" hasn't as much consequences like that one minigame with the doors (Idk how it's called but I remember that it's a minigame that appeared in Mario party 9 and reused in Mario party superstars)

Gate Key-Pers is by far the worst minigame. I despise luck-based minigames, so that's already a strike against it. I had a hard time getting first on it in the Party-Planner Trek mode. It was frustrating. As much as I would not mind replaying the single-player mode, I remember that Gate Key-Pers comes up eventually and I have second thoughts.

I Can see that you didn’t notice, but there is a catch in The Mega Stingbee minigame. If you stand on The first or second platform, The bee Will fly towards you, so if you’re Alone at your side and others just jump at it, you can’t do that. You have to stay awake and be focused and i like it🙌❤️

Gate Key-pers is utter GARBAGE! Especially in the single player mode, where you have to get first place to complete the mode. It's a terrible luck minigame (it doesn't help that I absolutely HATE luck in my minigames) that should've been the worst (why the flip did you choose All the Marbles as the worst? Are you trying to make us go mad?)

Yes! Wario's Buzzer Beater is one of the absolute worst ever! It lasts too long, and it's just dumb! Peach's Day off isn't my favorite either, I hate the 2nd stage where you bring donuts because nobody gets points if you pick the same tray!

They are different to regular minigames and all of them are supposed to be longer but you can't really blame it for being "Too long". Wario's is actually one of the shorter ones compared to Dk's or Waluigi's or even Daisy's so... However, I don't disagree with Peach's. That second phase is really bad. You saying Wario's is bad is your own opinion which I can't disrespect but saying it takes too long is a huge overstatement.

@nasimchoudhury7182 I disagree about it being an overstatement. Many of the minigames last much longer than they should in this game. Nathaniel Bandy even said that it's a weird issue with a lot of the minigames! The reason I dislike Wario's so much is because I hate quiz minigames. Wario's is just a much longer version of a quiz! It's a disaster to play with others online in that minigame!

I didn't watch yet, but I'm sadly going to say a lot of them suck in this game! They all last way longer than they should! Especially the Showdown minigames! Too many minigames are multi-round and multi-stage minigames that go on for too long! A lot of minigames feel like duds too compared to previous mario party games. I hate to say it, but I'm not a fan of some of the minigames in this game. Gate Key-pers is one of the worst minigames ever made! There's also too many quiz minigames! I miss the minigames from Mario Party Superstars and heck even Super Mario Party had good minigames that I wish returned! The motion controls also ruin a lot of them! Rosalina's Radical Race is one of my favorite minigames in the game, but it's sadly ruined by motion controls and inaccurate motion controls where it'll make me jump on accident when I didn't shake to jump and then the steering goes way out of wack! I wish motion controls would just get scrapped! They always play worse!

I agree. Gate Key-pers is THE WORST in Jamboree too! And what I want for the Ultimate Mario Party is to make motion controls an option! Every single mini-game in Mario Party history should be button controlled. Even the mini-games that originally used motion controls. But turn on motion controls and not only will those mini-games be motion controlled again, but more mini-games that are button controlled can be newly motion controlled too! But not all mini-games. Only a selected number of mini-games being motioned controlled. How about that?
