A lot of bands I love made this list, although some were not nearly as high in ranking as I think they ought to have been. Some of my favorites seem to be missing. And some of the other bands that made the list are groups I don't personally care for. But you know opinions are subjective, and I think it's fair to say that this is overall a pretty comprehensive and accurate list of all the biggest and most important bands in rock music.

Genesis, EL&P e Procol Harum per importanza storica sono evidentemente tra i grandi assenti in questa lista, gli altri che hai citato molto meno (per quanto siano band grandiose). Metterei prima Yardbirds, Dire Straits, Steely Dan, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, Bowie, Stoogies, SRV, Joe Cocker, The Cure, Jethro Tull, Jane's Addiction, Deftones, Slayer, ecc.. Per non parlare della scena moderna. Però è una questione di gusti, è per forza di cose una questione soggettiva, i nomi citati sono grandi nomi e 100 artisti per ricoprire più di 60 anni di storia, se ci pensi, sono pochi
