I Love the series and all your content! After showing the cover of the book you are talking about, can you leave a smaller picture of it up while talking about it?? I think I'm an outlier, but House of Chains is likely in my top 10. Definitely top 20. Absolutely love the extended Karsa Orlong POV. One of my favourite characters.

No question Rothfuss' prose is excellent. However, some people find the main character to be Gary Stu.

I never understood how people think Kvothe is a Gary Stu. Is he good? Yeah, of course he is. There's also a plethora of examples of him screwing things up and making incredibly poor choices.

Can someone please explain to me why these reviewers never give a short summary of the book?? After every book I have to pause and go to Goodreads just to see what the book is even about. Wouldn't it make sense, that since you've already read the book that you just give a short description along with your review.....

House of chains by Erickson is a terrible book. Amazingly boring and slow. Hated it. Made me give up the series.
