Would have been nice to see Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers on there. They made some very good albums for more than 40 years, also helped Tom make his solo projects. They were also the backup band for Dylan in the 80s. They definitely stood the test of time in my own opinion.

Well most bands here are that way. Sadly there are no new mainstream rock bands. The newest is Maroon 5 and by today standards that's quite old. There are no longer new bands. So really all the beloved bands are all veterans. Unlike solo pop artists which are there a few new choices there no bands
