Literally starting with Nabu, all of the characters know they are fictional, all of them have even spoken to the reader and manipulated the comic to their convenience. Being multiversal is already a joke for them. It's not Umineko, they don't need to say how many multiverses they created or destroyed with the lift of a finger. They are beyond that, and they are there to handle the idea of conceptual or abstract beings.

By the way, you remember that the one who won between CAS and Mandrak was CAS, right? and that madrak was taking away the entire DC canon from the real world acting as editor?
