Punjabi or Bollywood is not genre actually. Punjabi is langauge. Bollywood is HINDI film industry and the songs which are related to that are Bollywood songs then they might be Hindi Punjabi all called Bollywood here. But there's now so many artists who do albums of there own. Before 20 years ago songs are mostly related to movies or from movies. So what you are listening Bollywood movie songs Punjabi langauge songs South Indian songs ( which include Tamil langauge film industry tollywood, kannada film industry sandalwood, Malayalam language Film industry Kollywood etc. Bhojpuri langauge songs with high tempo beats And sometimes you can listen some words from English as we Indians tend to mix some words from English. As avg indians learns atleast 3 basic langauge India mother tongue, Hindi, and English. So English is mostly in mix. Btw there are over 1000 recognise langauge which are spoken in India out of them 22 langauge are official Indian langauge. So you can't say that English or Hindi is official langauge. Funfact- taste of food, langauge change every 100km anywhere in INDIA 😅.

Because of lots of hindi speaking population in india the hindi music videos has better views. As a person who watch all languages in india that's not top 100 songs. most good songs are from tamil and telugu industry. These 2 industries alone can easily cross 100 without adding malayalam. Hindi songs are good but everyhing feels cliche and or a copy of western/mexican style. Also I heard some punjabi songs everything feels same very little differentiation sometimes it feels like my ears gonna bleed
