Hello! Thank you for clicking to this video. I was about to delete this channel but stop when I noticed there were tons of views, thank you so much! To show you my appreciation, here is an updated list. I had trouble rendering the video and so got tired fixing some errors, sorry about that.
On another note, when I made the previous video, I didn't know Lower One Eyes is a Pjsekai Song, so had to change it to the pjsekai version. HOWEVER, this does not mean I will only take the Pjsekai version; I will take the oldest published, if both are on the same date then the one with larger views.
After a year of not doing this, I'm surprise with the top 100 this time, how about you?
I do this for fun not to gain profit.

That's because most producers of those classic music never posted the work here in KZbin. If they did it might be here like Lost One Weeping. Also should note I'm only considering those with owner's permission so even when a video had lots of views so long as it's not clear that they got permission, I do not include it.

Actually Melt only have 16m+ views in Niconico, but I think they only count logged on user towards views, no repeating view count, and no guest user view

Yep, World is Mine is about 64 million views on KZbin, which would put it in the top 10, but it wasn't published by the creator of the song. I think that counting the highliest viewed video that can be found on youtube would be more representative to what we expect, but I guess the line had to be drawn somewhere!

Many songs that are very popular in the Vocaloid community are not even here because the most popular songs overall are the ones that broke into the more mainstream public, specially the Japanese & sometimes the worldwide, still, I find interesting seeing how ppl here in the commment expected one song or another that aren’t known at all outside the community haha 😭

Looking more worldwidely, most of top songs are in Japanese arcade rhythm games. Matryoshka or goodbye declaration are in almost every single one.

It also doesn't help that in the earlier years, producers uploaded on NND and not on KZbin, meaning reprints (that often got taken down later) have millions of views but both the original and official uploads have much less. Even Japanese listeners end up on English translations because they're just easier to find. So, in fact, there's a lot of songs here I was surprised by (in that I had never heard of them before) while it was missing ones that I know most people do know of, but which have less views on their official uploads than on reprints.

It makes sense because they’re commissioned songs, so I think most people discover the song through the game so they’ll listen to the version with the vocals of the game since that’s the one they know. The project sekai is the original since they were commissioned specifically for the game, the vocaloid version is just the vocaloid version of it.

Thank you! Yes, it most likely surpass Roki and other top 5, it's just a question of if it can surpass Love me, Love me and then go to the top 1. As for World is mine, it's the one posted by Googoo88, right? I'm not that sure if the channel is properly authorized by the distributors and creators so to be safe, not adding that one. And so only considering the one posted by the official HatsuneMiku channel. It is a shame as that channel and a lot of others have videos with million views but I can't put them in the video as only puting those that are authorized.

Sorry for the confusion, the year there indicate when the particular MV I considered is published. In this case, Tokyo Tokyo Teddy Bear was published by Neru on Dec 2017 on KZbin but it is a 2011 song. ^^
