Actually they didnt do well in digital. Even now in Japan that digital sales is more relevant than physical sales. And the popularity went down badly compare to their peak.

It’s because 2013 was their “golden year” and the sousenkyo summer election was held for the next single which happened to be Sayonara Crawl. Personally I think it deserves number one because it’s one of their best singles

i'm a little surprised at the order of the top ones. 'flying get' was the song that made me start taking notice of them, so i would have expected it to have done better than a couple of the top ones. the top 2 i liked, but thought were just average. bokutachi wa tatakawanai is a song i always loved especially, but i didn't realise it had done so well, so it's higher than i expected, but i'm glad to see it at 5.

Dont be sad… sales are accumulative…since its the newest so expect to be below top 50… akb is still in transition to accommodating digital platform… were kinda old school here in japan as we still buy cds but ive seen a lot of positive feedback with nemohamo, some celebrities even said it is the start of a comeback from akb and the group might be doing some changes on the approach on their music.. its like rebranding in a way.. people are pretty much hooked up recently with the vocal battle of akb so expect more good things with the group.. i have high hopes for their redemption.. i am a 1st gen fan and my oshis already graduated but it would be nice to see them all over here than nogizaka.lets root for their comeback success!
