I personally have a weird relationship with Adam. I love Hugh Dancy and I identified with his character a lot but there were just so many small things I disliked, as well as the fact that I never managed to like the love interest. It's weird but not surprising honestly that so many movies that treat autism are about a character's sibling who has autism, and are largely straight white men. The autistic people of the world are so diverse and Hollywood really doesn't seem to like to think about that.

I have no problem with Rain Man because at the end of the film the character learns to accept bond and love his brother.
