My father passed in Feb 2023. His signature cologne was YSL’s L’Homme. So when Father Figure from Phlur came out, I blind purchased it. I love it. Whenever I wear it, it reminds me of being a little kid, laying on my dad’s chest as we watched tv together, my face cuddled up to him and I smell the remnants of his cologne at the end of the day. ❤ I hope Phlur never discontinues it!

I think Sol De Janeiro revolutionized premium body mists. I’m kind of all for that. I love body mists for bed time and I don’t feel guilt for putting on a bunch at night.

Burberry Goddess is such a hit. I only have a tiny sample, but I want a bigger bottle. I let my friend smell it, she wants it. I let my sister smell it, she immediately put it on her Christmas list and got it. Crowd pleaser for sure!

Versace’s Dylan Purple. It’s dark and fruity to me and I love pairing it with Ellish No. 1.

I tried Dylan Purple at an Ulta, walked into a store and immediately two very sweet employees asked me what perfume I was using. I bought a full bottle as soon as I could get one on sale hehehe

Dylan purple smells like Clean's Sparkling Sugar but without the heavy musk, it's so good!!!

2023 was the year that I discovered Arabic perfumes 😊 I got so many that I love. For designer perfumes, I love NR Noir Rose and the NR. Unpopular opinion, I got Burberry Goddess and thought it was basic and overhyped.

Burberry was definitely hyped up so when I tried it in store it kind of surprised me. It's a very classic simple perfume so I can see why people would like it universally but it didn't have much impact for me.

Valaya quickly became my favorite. It really surprised me because I usually don’t like super musky or fresh scents but that one changed my whole palate

My standout would be Kayali's Silk Santal ❤ Literally everytime I use it I get a compliment. It's great for any occassion. Definitely signature scent worthy. I was so sad that i fell in love with a limited release lol but i heard it may come back this summer 🤞

The standout for me in 2023 was Kilian Apple Brandy on the Rocks, Skylar Vanilla Sky, AG Cloud, and BBW Whipped Berry Merengue. It was all sweet scents this year which isn’t usual, 2022 was Tom Ford portifino something (Blue/Green bottle), Jo Malone Sea Salt and Wood Sage. Interesting switch.

I joined Ffern which is a British small batch perfume producer and I really enjoyed the scents they created for the different seasons! This year I’m dying to smell Golf le Fleur’s French Waltz and D.S.&Durga’s Pistachio. Fragrance has been keeping things interesting for me!

ds&durgas pistachio was a big let down for me - all i got out of it was patchouli. i really prefer obvious’ pistachio fragrance. it’s nutty and creamy but not too sweet

Skylar Urban Rose and Indigo Valley have been big winners for me this year. Along with Heretic Dirty Hinoki which is a new fav. I’m so happy that I’ve managed to find perfumes that I can wear without triggering allergic reactions or migraines

Mizensir "For Your Love" is my best discovery the past few months.. It's very similar to Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait and is just as good(if not better). 😊 Thank you for doing all of the fragrance advent calenders for Holiday this year, it was fun watching the videos 💗 Happy New Year 🌠

I learned to like vanilla in 2023! Way back in the day (like 1999) I had some sort of vanilla perfume purchased at a mall kiosk that I used to drown myself in for middle school and it eventually overwhelmed me and I hated it. So this year, I've dabbled a little and Divine Vanille by Essential Parfums is juuuust right.

I suffer from migraines, and scent can trigger them. I haven't worn then in years, but I want to dip my toe in carefully. I was in Sephora yesterday to try out some sprays and scents. I looooved By The Fireplace from Maison Margiela and Kayali Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper. I liked Ellis Brooklyn Salt, too. I got a sample of the Armani My Way, and I enjoyed it as well.

Finally goddess getting the love she deserves! It reminds me of the smell of fresh vanilla pipe tabacco(not burnt) also I smell the cacoa pop when it's cold! I work in a walk in freezer and literally caught the nose of chef!

I was really interested in Akro Bake, but I ended up getting D&G Devotion which I really like (I know this one is somewhat controversial, but I get the lemon gourmand from it and not kitchen cleaner 😂). If you’ve smelled or tried that one, do you think Bake is too similar? I’ve heard they are so I’m curious about what you think. Fine’ry is such a great brand…I love so many and find them to last…the price point also can’t be beat! I have to try Sniff and want Crumb Couture so bad…and the new Vanilla!! I have 3 really good blueberry type fragrances I love, but I am obsessed with that note/profile and gourmands! This was a great video…you were so on point with all the fragrances you mentioned! Kayali Pistachio Gelato was one of my favorites and I’m obsessed now with pistachio lol!! I just wish they would make this last longer like the Vanilla Patchouli

Diptyque is my favorite house!! I absolutely adore so many of their scents. Oddly, i absolutely hate papier. I love clean reserve skin (own that bottle) but papier is just dreadful on me. The longevity is torturous lol i was praying it would fade but it keep smelling so strong. My favorite from Diptyque is Fleur de Peau and Tam Dao xx love your hair ❤

Hello, based on your opinion on Bake by Akro, I think you would just LOVE Devotion by Dolce & Gabbana. It has a really good sugared lemon note at first and then you are left with something between floral and gourmand with the orange blossom and vanilla at the base. Really gourmand yet elegant ! Give it a snif if you can 😊

I definitely felt disappointed when I first got Yum gelato but I ended up liking it so much I got another bottle. Found a bottle on Mercari for 75% less than what you buy in stores. The bottles is beat up so I don’t know if it was a return and they threw it out, but the juice is fresh and delicious.💚

I bought the Kayali pistachio and I keep getting compliments and people say it smells like vanilla. I also have the 100 mil bottle and half is gone. I use the sol de Janiero first as a body spray # 62 and the two just smell fantastic together. My husband always says I smell fantastic when I wear them.

Love the hair ❤ I bought Baby Cat this year. I’m not usually drawn to vanilla but this is the best I’ve smelled. I went a bit nuts on the FragranceBuy Boxing Day sale and the Commodity sale. I managed to get the vault scents at a deep discount. I did buy Father Figure and the Mango Mood body mist at the Sephora sale. Both were new to me in 2023. Maribeau is a bridge in Paris. There is a poem by Apollinaire about standing on the bridge, looking down at the Seine and contemplating the flow of passing time and the pain of love. I did pick up the Ellis Brooklyn body mists at the Sephora sale.

I got a sample of Vanilla Woods from 7 virtues and I love it. It’s such a unique smell and really doesn’t smell like Vanilla Woods to me. It almost smells like juicy grape to me in a weird way?? It’s sweet but leaves a fruity impression on me. It’s worth a smell!

I tried two Fine’ry scents on the back of my hand. I couldn’t run to the bathroom fast enough to wash them off. I think one was a musk and the other was a solar type scent. Both were atrocious. Even my gf commented how awful they smelled.
