Been on 4 mg Xanax daily for well over 20 years. I recently changed drs and he told me to get off the Xanax or he wouldn’t write any prescriptions for me to help for my chronic pain. So, as you know (I didn’t) I got really sick. Muscle weakness, tremors, electric shocks, nausea, vomiting, cold sweats, diarrhea, headache, etc. This is extremely difficult and painful. I took myself off of 60 mg of Morphine Sulfate twice a day and I didn’t feel this bad. Xanax is the devil. I’d rather have anxiety.

Your comment is giving me some much needed hope. Thank you and glad to hear you were able to quit cold turkey. I am on day 2 of a cold turkey quit, and although it's been rough, it hasn't been as bad as some of the nightmarish symptoms many experience when quitting.

Been on 6mg / 3 2mg for quit some time now. And I am really having a rough time with this. I am 39 about to turn 40 ? How is it possible? Rest of my life? How and why do this to someone? What if I dont have it I am really off and in bad shape really bad! Ringing ears seeing shadows tf?!?$ help? Answers??
