Mostly ports? lol just because something released on multiple platforms at the same time doesn’t make it a port lol. And if the best vr games on pc are mostly certain genres it is what is is, nothing wrong with that.

1: Releasing on multiple things at the same time is not a port. 2: Horror and shooters tend to just be the things that flourish on Vr the most and stand out the most, this is no surprise.

I've tried the bigscreen headset. It honestly doesn't seem significantly different from the quest 3. It was the same experience. However the bigscreen had a constant white haze ring everywhere that was black, which in VR, happens a lot. I get that its lighter, but with the quest 3 i use the BOBOVR halo headstrap, so when I'm done playing VR i don't have any marks on my face and my hair isn't messed up. With the bigscreen headset, you're stuck with it being tight to your face. I looked like a masked crusader. My friend has it and he said it mostly sits on his desk and he uses his quest 3 most of the time. He said the OLED wasnt enough to compensate for the comfort issues during long gameplay sessions. He said the main use for it for him is to watch a movie in his bed on his back and just lay the headset on his face, lol. He regrets buying it because of the price, but in real world use, he doesn't think it's worth it. Having used it a few times, i have to agree. It's very light, so if they could come up with some kind of halo type strap that keeps it just off your face, that would be good. Not saying it's bad, just saying it's not worth the price. In the end, you're buying it because it's small, it's not Fuckerberg, and the marketing behind the "custom facial interface designed just for you!" makes people feel special. But it's just a headset like the others. But the size is too big to wear as glasses, and too small to accomodate a halo strap, so you're stuck with racoon face. Just some things i noticed. And as for half the games on this list, I'm completely done with gun games. They all look the same. The same guns, the same uniforms, and nothing but a giant gun bobbing and weaving in front of you while you're running. It's been cut and paste for 30 years now. Oh and the same terrible children (and man children) trash talking like they're in grade 5 and clearly don't (or didn't) have parents that can do their jobs properly. They should just get it over with and call these games the same thing: "Bobbing Gun Reddit User Recon Delta Ghost Cheetos Stain, Energy Drink Breath, RGB Squad 2000"

I think for now PCVR will still be supreme over standalone. All games just run better and look better on PC. And they have way more support for stuff like modding and custom maps and levels.

Got quest 3 just for wireless pcvr. Fov is too shite on the bigscreen and pimax to dish out 1500+ bucks. I do miss that oled goodness, but the quest 3 is just too much value for the money.

This list is the best vr had to offer on pcvr in 2023. Very different to my list on the quest platform for example, or psvr2 etc. There plenty of games to play in VR now ad days.

I loved verigo 2 but to say it goes up against Half Life Alyx? Insane comment. it isnt even half as good. 7th guest is the best game on this list for my personal opinion, an absolute hidden gem

vertigo is a bit buggy and the ai aint the best if they sorted that out it could do but as a personal opinion Alyx is leaps and bounds above vertigo. the atmosphere the mechanics and the graphics are something left to be desired with other games for me. nothing has came close plus the gun play@@UrGamingTechie
