Not quite right. They should do a flying distance - typically a mile - in both directions, within a small time period. There are fixed rules for outright world speed records, but not for these types of cars. If you averaged from start to stop, you'd get a pretty low number.

Here is what I would love to see. Put all of these cars together on the track (Suzuka, Spa, Silverstone?) In the hands of capable race car drivers, and set them loose for, let's say, a 40 lap race. Maybe throw in the pot a Pagani Huyara, the GMA T.50 and a couple more cars of the same caliber. According to me, Jesko Absolut is faster than Tuatara Because, Tuatara's maximum top speed is achieved to be 331 mph, whereas, Jesko Absolut's top speed is achieved to be 350 mph! (in right conditions). Otherwise, it's top speed is also achieved to be the same, 331 mph

Full electric car should have a feature to turn on a fake exhaust sound cause its eerie to drive a car not making any sound when going 200+ mph. You never notice you actually going 250 mph.

I agree that these vehicles are supreme!! But what ever speed they are claiming is possible on normal roads?? How many roads are suitable in the world for such supreme machines?? When they are running with 300-400-500 km / hr speed, how much time the car can be on track or road? Fuel would required to fill in, as these vehicles are performance based not milage based!!! These vehicles are best technology demonstrator, but not much practical in day today life, While making above stmt, I have considered only 1 parameter and that is speed 😊🙏 As this video is based on the same only!!!

Production cars with theoretical claimed performance shouldn't be on this list as of now, particularly cars that don't even have 'unofficial' attempts recorded on video. However I feel discussing the Jesko Absolut is fair considering Koenigsegg's engineering and performance pedigree, the predicted performance is highly probable. The SSC Tuatara has not broken 300mph. Their record claim was debunked to the point that SSC had to officially admit that their claim is invalid. They made another attempt and also failed to breach 300mph by a significant margin.

@@TopBoxy - Yes, I'm aware of this. Read my comment again as I explain why I feel "discussing" the Jesko Absolut is understandable. It shouldn't be ranked, but its predicted performance is more than likely going to break 300mph for the reasons I mentioned in my OP, so discussing it I feel would be reasonable, outside the rankings.
