Nice job ! I bought the FLO thing! see good options already ! I do note that FSRealistic is missing some key features that XPrealistic seems to have... Anticipated head movement and horizontal G affects.

I wonder the following about Navigraph and Simbrief. So they both receive monthly updateds on waypoints, frequency's etc. But as far as i know the internal MSFS database itself does not change, so that would mean that all the updatet frequency's etc in Simbrief don't match up any longer with MSFS internal database, and that would make it all completely unuseful. Is my assumption correct or am i missing something here?

Its the ridiculously rough GSX animations that are actually walking in mid-air within the jetway, so their heads are protruding from the top. I absolutely cant stand gsx. Ive purchased it, messed with it, attempted to get it to behave acceptably. Just isnt really feasible. They make a lot of claims, and while Im certain that they have put a lot of work into it, but it just isnt refined. It does not add to our immersion, but instead is extremely distracting because of all the nonsense. Mark my words, you will spend more time fiddling with gsx than you will enjoying msfs.

This is helpful. I’m planning on trying some of them. The most immersive add on I have found is Pilot Edge. It’s far more expensive but makes the flight more true to really flying.

Pilot Edge is great, but it isn't really an addon. It is a (professional) ATC service, like VATSIM, but guaranteed coverage as you pay for it. It is cross platform, just like VATSIM and IVAO. The only downside of pilot edge is that it is SOCAL + West US only. Which you grow out of after a while when using PE leisurely, instead for training purposes. And the pricing is fair, but heafty, and creeps on you when the "I am only ever flying in this area" sets in. I would honestly prefer to pay double, but for the entire US.

@@104thironmike4 I agree about the coverage. I asked and there are no current plans to expand it. I’m not sure that I would pay double, but considering what we get, I can’t complain about the price; I’m sure that it’s expensive to provide the service. It just makes the flying feel real.

Thanks for the great video! I wonder what your thoughts are about FSCrew SOP1/2 and Pilot2ATC (for those who are not ready for VATSIM yet)? I've just bought SOP2 and I believe it could provide a new level of immersion in the sim, but it's quite complex though

MFSF Addon Linker - Say I have a 2TB Mechanical Hard Drive (slow) of which I want to download all my sceneries, aircraft, tools etc. Can I put my Community Folder on a 500GB M.2 NVME SSD (fast) and take advantage of the extra speed and faster loading times? Is this basically how it works? I can transfer my files into the sim from a slow HDD to a fast SSD. If this is the case, then for me this is an absolute game changer.

Using Addon LInker while storing your addons on a slow mechanical hard drive won't make loading them any faster. Addon Linker doesn't actually move the files from one place to another. It basically makes the computer think files/folders are in another place when in reality they're in another, hence "linker". The files will still load from the hard drive. If you want the faster speeds of the SSD, you need to store your addons and sim on the SSD.

The only addon mentioned in this video that has a rolling monthly subscription (if you do not get the annual subscription) is Navigraph. Navigraph Unlimited, which is the charts and NAVDATA, costs 9 euros per month or 82 euros for 12 months on the annual subscription.
