I just got into Rogue Trader. 10 hours in so far, and I feel like I've barely even scratched the surface. But those 10 hours have been an absolute joy so far.

Divinity:OS2 is a superb RPG with depth of plot and characters (I loved D:OS1 also). Solasta is a nice little gem of an RPG and the combat is a lot of fun.

Ultima 7 made me love RPGs, but Baldurs gate 1 and 2 with throne of baal are my favourites of all time. When I saw Jaheira and Minsc were in BG3 I cried happy tears. I have replayed the enhanced edition for the new npcs and I'm glad I did. Some of the features make it palatable to modern audiences and even though the graphics are outdated even in the Enhanced Edition, the game is a masterpiece for anyone who wonders if they should play it or not.

I've just got BG 3 as a present....can't wait to dive in 🚀 its funny how we are all just gamers that appreciate these things!

Cool list, LT! Love Rpg games. Divinity 2: Original Sin is my favourite, stealing from vendors was my main source of income 😂. Baldur's Gate 2 is also very good and very long game, so if players can get past older graphics there are hundreds of hours of fun there.⚔

Thanks so much! Will be playing a lot of these over Xmas :)

I'll be picking up Drova this sale (heard a lot of great things about it from the Gothic community), KeeperRL and New Vegas DLCs. Thinking about giving Fallout NV another shot, haven't touched it since it got released. Low Magic Age and Geneforge look great too, I'm going to keep my eye on those!

Keep an eye on them for later. Both great!

Multiple video's like this with the same titles all the time! What about the 50% off sci-fi party based cRPG Stellar Tactics, or the 50% off Caves of Lore, a fantasy party based cRPG, both with 100+ hours of gameplay and less than $10?! Totally unknown by most gamers, because they are never get mentioned in lists like this, I mean, who hasn't got Cyberpunk 2077 or Baldur's Gate 3!?!

Well this was our first RPG list so we needed some marquee titles and I doubt many have Low Magic Age and Geneforge!

Tom clearly has good taste. BG2 is indeed the best CRPG of all time - I have played through it countless times. You will enjoy BG3 too, all the awards it won are well deserved. Fabled Lands looks interesting, and Rogue Trader being almost half price means I'll probably have to buy that. Thanks guys.

Yes, but it's incomplete and abandoned. I bought it years ago and nothing has changed.

How about Pillars of Eternity, 1&2? Avowed, sort of a sequel, is coming out in February. They're 75% off.

Hogwarts legacy itself is a game I will not recommend to anyone unless they are an avid Harry potter universe fan. As the game by itself sucks as an RPG. Anything outside of the main story, that secret room you have, and some side character quests, the game is honestly not that good in my opinion. I think it would probably be better as a linear story, than as an open world rpg game. As you barely get to roleplay as a student, and instead are just roleplaying some kid who has ancient magic that happens to go to hogwarts. I honestly would've love it if they made it where you actually have to attend classes as a student, and actually be able to roleplay as a student. But luckily their is mods on the pc that can fix that. But without mods I give hogwarts legacy a 7/10 at best for Harry enthusiasts. And a 4/10 overall to the general consumer. Outside of it being in the Harry potter universe, it has the exact same charm of a UBISOFT open world game. I enjoyed my time with the game, but it's honestly not that great.

Cyberpunk 2077 ROCKS. Kenshi ROCKS. Kingdom Come, meh. Divinity Original Sin 2, double meh. Thumbs up for the list! AND for the links/timestamps!

Low magic age is abandoned. There are many crafting systems that are incomplete, pages of skills not implemented in game and most importantly they never bothered to make ANY story line.

They just dropped a patch in November lol.
@SploogeonGoogle-sl6wh4 сағат бұрын
@LTGamingKZbin a patch that did nothing noticeable to the game. I own it. Trust me this has not had any meaningful update. The story has been rescue a merchant, create several weapons of various quality, collect crafting materials and open a bank for years. Basically it's just find quests for better equipment, kill the monsters, empty out procedural dungeons again for better equipment etc. By the time I played the arena mode I got an achievement for going 50 matches undefeated. Once you understand the strategy (which most d&d players already do) you are next to invincible with no goals. Maybe it'll be worth a buy in five more years as updates trickle in at the pace of a glacier digging out a valley.
