I can understand if you are italian that your goat is rossi. But everyone who says marquez isnt sportive on his level anf if not even a bigger talent than you are insane. First rider I ever saw and immediately became a fan was Wayne Rainey with that n° 2 bike. I think I was 5 years old. It´s still my favourite number. This video shows us that the sport is made by legendary riders from all time. Never forget them. We love this sport because of them.

Rossi did for MotoGP what Jordan did for NBA or Schumacher did for F1. Made their sport super popular Globally and not just the countries which are represented in the sport. Rossi is the reason i started watching MotoGP back in 2007 and to this day its the best motorsport for me.

Valentino is the only rider in MotoGP to win back to back races and back to back championships on different manufacturers. He is the only rider to have his own team win Moto 3, Moto 2 and MotoGP wins. He is the only rider to have a riders academy and winning in all 3 categories. His academy rider also became the MotoGP world champion. Truly an ICON and as "Collin Edwards" said that VR46 is the GOAT.

I was too young for the Rainey-Schwantz battles, but from the Doohan domination and then battle with Biaggi in '98, the Valentino era and then his battle with the young Aliens, MotoGP has always delivered fantastic entertainment! I wish they got rid of the current aero winglets...

Nobody injured. He crashed and fucked his career. Rossi had 22 seasons in the premier class. Marc is in his 11th which is looking like last quarter of his career. That says something isn't it. If someone wants to be most successful they should be fit enough to be competitive and crash free. Marquez is neither of that. He will never beat Rossi. Most important thing of all, Rossi proved he lives and breathes MotoGP through VR46 academy. If you ask me all the titles the academy drivers won should also be counted when talk about Rossi

If anyone complains about it, he doesn't deserve a single championship. Because other riders are also riding similar bikes. Only thing they can complain about is overtaking. Whose fault is it? It's the Marquez team's fault. One not giving him a better bike. Two not asking him to ride within the limits of the bike. They encourage this stupid all or nothing riding style resulting in him crashing multiple times. Valentino Rossi didn't have a competitive bike in 2011-12. But he didn't crash this idiot

How the hell is Nicky Hayden not on here? His battle with Rossi is legendary! I’m a American and our reign in the 80’s and 90’s was incredible and I love the acknowledgment but it’s sad there hasn’t really been an American rider since Nicky that was super competitive besides maybe Ben Spies we gotta get a rider back. I believe whole heartedly that if Cam Beaubier would’ve got a shot earlier in his career he could’ve been great. He won 5 Motoamerica championships in a row before being given a shot. Crazy
