I thing a more relevant title would be something along the lines of "top 15 Wii titles that looked surprisingly good". Then it makes sense to leave out games like Metroid Prime 3, mario galaxies, Resident Evil 4 etc. I was happy to see Darkside Chronicles (and Shattered Memories)here! With the two Resident Evils Chronicles along with games like Dead Space Extraction, Sin & Punishment 2 and House of the Dead Overkill the Wii probably has the best library of on-rail shooters of all times!

As far as prime 3 goes I almost put it on here. I understand wanting games like it and galaxy present, I really wanted to think a little more outside the box though. Every Wii graphics video has those... RE4 I actually feature it in my best gamecube graphics video, which trust me I wanted it here because it's my favorite version of RE4. The Wii mote is amazing with that game. Oh yes me and my brother and dad played the heck out of the chronicles games and house of the dead on the Wii, I didn't play much Dead Space on there but my brother did and I seen him play it a lot. Looked fantastic.. Go check out my Gamecube video! I think you might like it more than this one as it's a good bit newer. Would love to know what you think about it.

@@Emerald-Bearer I fully understand, and that's what I appreciate about this list. One of the few lists where I didn't know what would come next haha. I also loved RE4 on Wii. I also have it on Switch, but it's one of the few games that is superior on Wii to other versions thanks to the motion controls. I got it on Switch for handheld gaming, but I learned the hard way from disapproving looks of an elderly couple it's not the best game to play on the train... 😂

Some good choices here, but there's a few that have me scratching my head - especially when there's other games missing from the list that easily deserve it.

It's the ones I personally think look best, It comes down to personal taste of visual styles with Wii, only exception being the few outliers that are more advanced on a technical level, e.g. Conduit 2. I'm not saying that something like dead space, Mario galaxy, skyward sword or some artistically driven 2D games have no place in a top 15 list, it just didn't in my list. Personally I think Bully on Wii could've been here.. Also I did not include any game that was on Gamecube because I have a Gamecube list on the channel as well.

Nice and not obvious list 👌 someone mentioned dead space and I would like to add Metroid Prime 3 😎 Muramasa too but it’s 2d - You focus on “realistic” 3d games.

The Wii is easily in my top 3 favorite consoles of all time and I feel like you did it justice here. Glad you showed off multiplatform games too and not just exclusives. People overlook the Call of Duty games on Wii bc the 360 and PS3 versions look better. But that doesn't change the fact that they we're still very impressive for the Wii, pushing it to it's limits. Especially Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3. Awesome list.

I actually think Modern Warfare 1 looks better on Wii than 3. 3 is a decent port to be sure, and it's awesome they didn't skimp on things like the scene where the plane comes apart on crash landing, but I feel like with Reflex Edition, it wasn't just a typical Wii port. They were seriously trying to get Modern Warfare running on Wii with almost no cuts at all, even in presentation.

Alice in Wonderland and Asterix look better than most on this list. Plus the first Force Unleashed plays and looks better than the garbage second entry.

I looked up both those games, what exactly do you see in them that looks so good to you? Im just curious.. Idk man the 2nd Force Unleashed looks a good bit better to me, maybe you played the 360 or PS3 version of TFU1.

@@Emerald-Bearer Lightning, polygon amount and so on. Both games look that good imho and have a unique atmosphere and graphics style to them. I've definitely played the Wii version of TFU1. For more than 100 hours as there's a NG+ feature.

Overall, a decent list but Juon is a bit of a cheap choice because it's easy to hide a game's graphical limitations when everything's dark. As for Force Unleashed II...Force Unleashed's graphics would've been acceptable in 2002 and Force Unleashed II's would've been acceptable in 2005. I would've put Xenoblade and Brawl on here instead.

I can try to overlook games like Dead Space Extraction, GoldenEye 007, Project Zero 2 Wii Edition, Project Zero 4 Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, or F1 2009 on this list (some of them are graphically better than several of the ones I saw here on the list), BUT for me, it´s a real CRIME not to place Zangeki no Reginleiv in first place on this top, this game is not only graphically IMPRESSIVE for a Wii, but it´s also too underrated and tremendously unknown...

The Wii had some great looking games. The only thing it lacked was decent output support. The ability for even 720p would have helped immensely.

If I made a list of the top 50 best graphics Wii games, about half of these titles would make the list. Pandora's Tower, Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers, The Last Story, Red Steel 2, Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles & Sonic Colors would make the top 50 list, but as for the top 15, if I made this list I would have Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil 1 remake, Resident Evil 4, Zelda Twilight Princess, Zelda Skyward Sword, Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Xenoblade Chronicles, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Dead Space Extraction & Red Steel (at least in parts of the environments such as the Japanese gardens, Japanese houses & certain city streets). I think Sonic Colors & Red Steel 2 would make the list of top 15 too, so I agree with those 2 too. Plus there was the fancy art style graphics such as Super Paper Mario, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Okami, Mad World, Geometry Wars, Muramasa the Demon Blade, Red Steel 2 (although atleast Red Steel 2 made the list), Zack and Wiki, Rayman Origins, Donkey Kong Country Returns, No More Heroes, No More Heroes 2 and maybe a few others. I never know how to position fancy art styles in best graphics categories as art styles/directions are very subjective when compared to each other.

I totally understand your point, I'll add though that I 100% agree about those RE games and twilight princess but I wanted to leave them off in case I wanna do a gamecube list as they look the same on both... yea I've been fully aware of how good games like dead space, smash bros brawl, the galaxy games all look, but everyone sticks those on there and I wanted to branch out some and I genuinely think this is a great list that would surprise a lot of people. As far as art styles I try to include both, example red steel 2 and sonic colors but I do prefer realistic styles myself, so I definitely do more of that than anything... I imagine you'd make a pretty fantastic list going off what you said!

I know the list is limited to only 15 games but there are definitely some games I personally would have included over a lot of the ones you listed. House of the Dead overkill is CRIMINALY underrated. Metroid (even though it was hated) looked great. Mario Galaxy 1&2. Skyward Sword, etc.

Glad to see Other M getting recognition. Its a fun game, great level design and intricate, well written story. The hate it gets makes no sense. And of course.the graphics are some of the best on the Wii.

It invented woke 😂😂 story was trash the fight a forklift truck was trash controls were delibratly silly but level design nad 2d 2.5d 3d design was amazing

@@audie-cashstack-uk4881 yeah I liked the level design a lot. 3d with 2d elements was mixed well imo. The Wii controls aren't for everyone, but I didn't have too much trouble with it aside from occasional unresponsive first person switching. I still stand by the steps though. You can have a female lead without the story being woke. If it was woke Samus would have made it a point to make the men look like her pet dogs, like modern media does. This story didn't do anything like that.
