I would agree with of your top 15 lists, pre-rotation, but I think Malamar and Shadow Rider with the lost of Oricorio GX and Gengarkyo respectively, got a bit weaker, and in reverse Ice rider got stronger with Suicune, I think it deserves the top spot, and RS Urshi with Medicham 2nd

Inteleon vmax disrupt is sooo slept on. A very good deck and i personally run it and it’s very consistent and beats most decks on this list

Exactly, Zacian needed Caotic Swell, without gotta spam crystal caves and cut in some otjer cards making it a bit less consistent

What would you recommend a new player buy to get into the game? Wanting to get into playing this game with friends but have no idea where to start.

I would recommend starting with a budget deck so you learn a lot first before buying quite expensive cards. I can say Malamar and Decidueye are both great Budget friendly decks to start off with.

Unfortunately Jolteon VMAX is starting to get more and more popular. I might re-explore it again on the channe but it hasn't had a lot of tournament success lately.

I really think that zacian is at the very least top 3, not with the list showed, but Yeah, he has the options, suicune is good, but i feel like It is a weaker zacian, and shadow Rider really got hurted by rotation

I feel like with malamar and shadow rider, tornadus vmax is better positioned than single strike urshifu, but it's certainly lacking in representation.

Jolteon VMAX started getting good after this video was recorded. It definitely should be in the top 15 for sure.
