@@adamoop4398 I recently rewatched an episode of that season where Chase, Sash and Holly were very obviously in a three person alliance and going to vote Jane out and after Fabio won immunity she just gave up instead of thinking "Hey, there are two other people that aren't in the alliance. Maybe we can make something happen." Good thing CBS is mostly casting fans on the show these days.

The one reason I can think of: "Marty we know 100% is against us. Kelly we just alienated by lying to her and so might turn against us or might not." Yeah, Marty has an idol, but they could split the vote on Jill and Marty next time instead. They removed the wild card that they created in the form of Kelly B. I would rather be up against someone who I know is against me than someone who could go either way. When split votes are involved, you want certainty rather than the unknown.

Yes but they just voted off Kelly B because she has one leg and a lot of the cast was like "she is amazing to participate" so Brenda and satch voted her off because of the fact she was a threat.

Funnily enough the ambiguity of how the extra vote/vote steal works in a revote cased Shonee to play it on the wrong person in in the most recent season of Australian Survivor.

Naonka, Sash and some others felt Kelly B was a huge FTC threat if I remember right. I think that was the only explanation that was given. I agree it was weird because Marty was obviously more dangerous to the majority.

I understand wanting to think ahead but thinking about FTC threats on day 15 or 16 is a bit too early. Also, just my opinion, but I feel like it's better to keep the loyal people in the game at least for the short term.

At the ghost island tribal, there is a possibility wendell could have gone home. Kellen simply forgot that she could use her double vote on the revote. If she did use it, her and Wendell would have gone to rocks. Huge advantage misplay by Kellen, it could have taken out the eventual winner

I think Micheal voted for Wendell because he thought that the only chance that he would stayed in the game is if both laurel and Kellen voted for Wendell. Obviously Michael forgot about the factor of a double vote.

Is there a good place online to watch Australian Survivor for free? I'm a big fan of the American version. I have watched since season 1 episode 1. Seen every episode. I've never watched the Australian version though. I'm kind of curious.

​@@1survivor566 Start with the 2016 version, we tried to do the show back in 2002 and it sucked so was cancelled, then a different network tried in 2006 and it sucked so was cancelled, and then a new network got it in 2016 and now it's good and has been renewed. The biggest downside to it all is that when the 2002 season aired, they aired it instead of Survivor: Marquesas. To this day there has never been an official broadcast of Marquesas in Australia, and it's the only season not to be broadcast here.

John Carroll getting blindsided was an epic moment. Still is after all these years. Some didn't like the season but I did. I miss those older seasons that focused on the social/survival aspects. I don't mind the twists but I feel like the American version of the show has gone overboard with them recently.

I'm sorry but if we're really supposed to believe that Amanda was completely in on the Ozzy blindside and she actually kept up the act all season like that.. then DAMN she's good at being fake lmao like fr it's one thing to be discreet with your strategy, but to blatantly lie to someone you're hooking up with who is telling you they're falling in love with you, and continue lying for such a lengthy time..? Idk I just don't like that whole situation. It's weird the way they literally edited the FINAL 2 to look like they did LESS than they did..? If it was all the other way around, and it really was Cirie's plan, and they edited it to make it look like it was Parvati and Amanda's plan.. that would at least make sense bc they were the finalists. It doesn't make sense to edit the winner's biggest move to look like someone else actually came up with it. Which is what I've been being told any time I bring up the fact that Cirie was the one to suggest blindsiding Ozzy lol and apparently Amanda was actually fully aware and part of the plan. Like why would they not show us all of that?

I think that the double tribal in ghost island would've been a lot more satisfying if Sebastian and Kellyn were the 2 voted out since Malolo and Naviti would finally be even, giving a chance for Michael to win the game and for Laurel to have the courage to vote for Dom or Wendell

Eh, Kelly B was part of the "majority" in terms of original tribe composition, but she was on the bottom of the La Flor tribe. From that standpoint, I don't think this vote was very surprising. Also, Sash got Marty to hand over his idol in the next round.

I don't think this would make the top 10, but the vote at the final 10 of Survivor the Australian Outback is pretty legendary. Jeff Varner gets voted out because of votes cast at previous tribal councils, and this votes sets the course for the post merge of Australian Outback. Survivor is just so new at this point and something like this had never happened before. The crazy thing is that if Jeff hadn't decided to step out of the challenge for peanut butter he might win immunity instead of Keith, Keith gets the votes and since he's already had previous votes cast against him it's a completely different result.
