Great interview! I'd much rather hangout with this Spencer than either version of his appearances on Survivor. Good for him to explore ego-death and to unfold into whoever he's meant to become.

I think that now Spencer is better than he ever was, because he used to be a kid don reality tv, not knowing what he was doing. Now he's a man who has been through his own "tribal' trials and tribulations.

Spencer is still dreamy. I don’t know exactly what he said online a few years ago that has ppl hating him so much now, but I can’t not feel something for him. Rarely seen someone whose vulnerability is so palpable despite their every effort to obscure it. It’s endearing and human.

The first time I heard Spencer speak after going through big changes sparked by survivor my reaction was “oh that’s cool, but you should go back on survivor and play that character again” Clearly I did not understand what he was going through, I was just someone who likes the character Spencer portrayed on Survivor. Now looking at Spencer I’m much more impressed with the changes he made, the changes that I glossed over first time around. I like survivor for the human element, and I know it’s TV, but I wish people were more authentic. Counter point to what Spencer was saying, how do we know if people are being authentic or not? I can think of a bunch of examples of people that seem like characters but also seem authentic. One that comes to mind is Carolyn

@@thezealofman if you don’t mind me asking, there is a lot of references to masculine energy, feminine energy, and a lot of other concepts that are being discussed that Joe Shmoe wouldn’t be familiar with. Are you and Spencer subscribing to any particular philosophies or theories that would explain?
@thezealofman7 ай бұрын
@@bmillz6243 Thanks for your question. I think that is a very broad topic to unpack so I will try to be succinct. When it specifically comes to concepts like masculine and feminine energies, m any cultures for millennia have had their own interpretations on what these things mean. Masculine and Feminine energies are just one of the many facets that make up the entirety of the human experience. Anyone that is on the "Path To Awakening" will inevitably find models and structures other smart people have come up with to better interpret their experiences. So to the affect of particular philosophies and theories that Reiman (Spencer) and I subscribe to, we subscribe to many of them but some of them serve someone better at certain parts of their internal evolution. I would say both of our world views are syncretic borrowing from dozens of models for understanding different facets of life. I hope this was clear.

If you are reading this last comment and you find yourself interested, I hope that you take a minute think back to any conversation you had with a freshman in college who has been to most of his philosophy classes at a house show. Parallels include: references to spirituality that aren't explained, condescending language that makes it seem like they believe they are a teacher, and saying a lot of fluffy words that simultaneously don't really say anything at all. It is concerning how this guy appears to be a leader in whatever weird group they have going on. It takes about 60 seconds to see that this is a cult, or at the very least an awful group of people. I truly hope for Spencer's sake that he finds his way out of this mess. Conservatives who believe that the college system isn't worth it, look no further for evidence that our young people clearly need guidance that they will not get elsewhere. The Zeal of Man, you said you "hope this was clear". It was not, you did not explain any such information that cleared what you mean by "masculine and feminine energies", nor did you address the plainly obvious question of what kind of ideology you are even talking about. I'm glad that you draw your wisdom from "many cultures", "philosophies", and "dozens of models". I challenge you to explain just one idea of what you mean by anything you said. It would be a service to humanity if you did a little reading instead of trying to teach.
