Top 15 Least Favorite Boss fights

Boss fights can be good but there are also boss fights that are just bad. These are the fights I consider the worst.

I agree with the Gattuso fight, it was a huge difficulty spike early on, Especially when doing the secret mission which is using the stun flowers to stun it, which was easier said than done

Adding in number 4, this is especially apparent when it’s within the Golden Settlement. A chapter 2 area. Chapter. Darned. 2. Think about the bosses prior to this thing. The spider boss, Aria, and if you fight them before the Devourer, Zasp and Mothiva, and the Venus Guardian are enjoyable and decently challenging bosses beforehand, but the Devourer was like “Welcome to DIE!” And this is coming from someone who got absolutely mauled by the thing before even getting to the second half of chapter two.

I totally represed #2 from my memory it came out of nowhere and every time I died I had to go back to the last save point and then go back and level grind. I was actually able to beat it but it felt like luck more than anything else.

I think the worst part about number 4 is you could end up fighting the boss before you take the side quest

I think this is one of your best coutdowns to date, makes me wanna get back into making 'em myself :P Honestly, I really think the Boost Guardian is overhated. I wouldn't call it good by any means but I've never died to it and its minions drop enough health to survive without much trouble. I get why people hate it and it's a valid complaint but it's mostly painless to me. I have two most hated bosses--the true final boss of Sonic and the Secret Rings (WHO THE HELL THOUGHT MOTION CONTROLLED BULLET HELL WHILE SHAKING THE GODDAMN CONTROLLER WAS A PASSABLE IDEA??) and the WW1 chapter blue path boss from Eternal Darkness (I've never been more frustrated with a boss in my life, it does not even remotely function as intended in any capacity)

The Nosferatu in Trails of Cold Steel 1. In chapter 5, Rean's group goes to Laura's hometown of Legram, and in the second day there, two kids pull a Simba from Lion King and go explore Lohengrin Castle, prompting Laura and Class VII to go save them. The castle itself is gorgeous to explore, and the music definitely helps sell the mystical and otherworldly vibe it gives off. But, the Nosferatu is where it becomes a nightmare. Basically, it can summon skulls that can confuse your party, absorb the souls of any one of your party members that it deems the most threatening, and most annoyingly, it can cast Garden of Nightmares, which is an AOE attack that gives party members caught in it the Nightmare status, meaning if that party member gets attacked, or the nightmare wears off, another random status ailment takes its place.

It was a bad boss, yeah, but that's nothing compared to CS2's Gordi Schnarr G or CS3's Heavy Ruby, or even Wald from Zero (if you're interested in DP, you have to win, even though you normally don't have to win and as such it wouldn't be a bad boss at all if you're not going for max DP)

It was a good list and I can agree with the entries for games that I have played. Number one is clearly badly designed and I have no idea how that got to be in the game, but then I remembered how short the development of that game was so that makes some sense. ...they shouldn't have rushed the game.

The Episode 6 boss of Resident Evil: Revelations I dislike not because it's hard as it's super slow, it's attacks are easy to dodge, and you scan it to 100% multiple times to get multiple green herbs, no the reason why I dislike it is because it's a HP Sponge as it has the highest amount of HP in the entire game, yep it's got more then HP then final boss T-Abyss Tyrant Jack in fact this quote from Parker he mentions during the fight sums up my feelings during this fight "How is this thing not dead yet?"

I remember fighting Gattuso in Tales and Yeah it was awful, Seriously Karol, Nothing about that boss was easy especially since I attempted to do the secret mission along side it(where you have to lure it to one of those paralysis flowers). Overall good list, My personal picks would be Leechgrave from KH 358/2, Extremoth(Tempered Behemoth) from Monster Hunter World and Honeycomb Maker From SAO Fatal Bullet.

15: As annoying as that boss is, I think the Chapter 2 boss is even worst, cause at least that boss don't COUNTER attack you while you trying to grab the dame thing as it waggs around to deliver the finale blow. 14: Fire Emblem is a Boss Rush pretty much? Didn't know. 13: Love the SpongeBob reference you made. 12: Wow, a Cuphead boss that's not Grim Match Stick. 11: Its the Angelo Panettone of Octopath Traveler. 10: It's lucky that I play this on the Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Wii, and it looks like you played it on the Wii version as well so it shouldn't be that hard for you....unless your playing it on the harder difficulties. 9: I've been interested in his game for a while, tho I will dread when I get to THIS guy. 8: Another hate on The Shamans? Wow they must be THIS bad. 7: Figure that this boss would be talk about since you last said in in your Top ten Most Hated Characters in Video Games. 6: You also forgot to mention of how utterly hateable Mitsuho is, he KILLS INOCENT people because he wants attention. 5: Feels like he was meant to be an early game boss before they ship him off to a later point. 4: Personably, I don't include Optional Bosses because, well....their optional, it makes since for them to be hard. 3: The mear moment you said that game, I knew that you were gonna talk about this bitch. 2: A massive difficulty spike despite being the third boss? And is an animal, I guess the Qurupeco and the Brachyura might have gotten a pet from Snowheart. 1: The Quarter Guy would agree on you 100%. So yeah, really good list, it has been a while since we heard about you, can't wait to see what you got in store for in your Top 15 Least Favorite Final Boss Fights. ;)

I joined your Discord server! Anyways... 15. I remember having him on my annoying Mario bosses list 14. For some reason I expected a FE3H boss 12. I haven't played Cuphead yet but I'm considering it now that I heard that you DON'T have to restart the whole game if you get Game Over. But I'll see how my experience with that boss goes. Either way, looks like a rejected Futurama character 10. I hate this boss with a burning passion! It took me almost 2 weeks to kill on the hard mode! 9. Painful 5. I still found Char Clawbster much worse of the two. 4. Still need to try that game 3. I still thought Tyrea and Solidium Telethia to be worse (though not as hard as this one) 1. I gave up on the X series before I got to this game

Tyrea and Solidum Telethia gave me a hard time too, but I found Lorithia worse due to her immunity to physical attacks (as my favorite party member to control is Dunban). Yeah, Telethia Solidum and Tyrea were an awful boss too: a massive damage sponge which requires you to have Shulk in the party and an enemy immune to Shulk's attacks.

But I disliked Gadolt at Agniratha more than Telethia Solidum and Tyrea. Especially that Laser Bullet or something which hits a circle and is ether.based meaning you can neither use Monado Shield nor Speed. Did you ever have problems with that fight?

Here’s my list for my least favorite boss 15. Arm Strong form Metal Gear Solid Revenges I hate arm strong so much not only he’s final boss but he killed my enjoyment I even ask omega snake to help me with arm strong 14. Serpent Rex form Sands of Destruction for those who watched my playthrough of the game you I hated hall of knights is one of annoying puzzles to get there and you have your party members back an till you face serpent Rex and she’s not alone morte is with her hostage and you think killing morte will make it easy for you no killing morte is game over you have to beat boss 13. Replica Riku form kingdom hearts chain of memories oh Replica Riku I had worse experience with him he keep shows up in worse possible timing you have both sora and Riku story at least I felt good beating him cheep way possible 12. Saisu and Omega Rugal From Kof 95 both bosses were hard as hell saisu is one thing but omega rugal is much harder at least I stall him out 11. Freeze Man Form Megaman Battle Network 2 now I played Battle Network 2 it was fun an till freeze man story and is a wild goose chase thankfully I was using elec costume style and made a lot easier 10. Yellow devil form Megaman I hate yellow devil so much and he’s very first Willy stage 1 and he’s annoying 9.dr.kahl’s robot form cuphead I don’t have to say anything aero already said that 8.Mr.navit Form Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth this optimal boss was hell mr.navit team only 2 omnimon Zwart And Chaos Gallantmon are really strong and half way ether one of them kill his partner to boost stats 7. Vale mk 2 and Highmax Form Megaman X Legacy Collection vol.2 oh my god highmax is bad enough in X6 but vale is even worse 6. Gulp Form Spyro 2 ripto’s rage reignited version gulp took me hours to get perfect skill point was very annoying to get but I finally finished it 5. Milo Form Pokémon sword and shield will milo felt really really really easy first gym and he’s a grass type 4.m.bison Form street fighter 5 like Benjamin said m.bison as final boss lame 3.jun and unknown Form Tekken tag 2 these 2 these are pain rage annoying and nightmares because they annoying to face them yes them first round jun going to spam her combo moves hell of it and unknown is even worse compere first game 2. Final bosses rush From Final fantasy 7 remake ok final fantasy 7 remake final chapter can burn in hell seriously it was hell your facing 6 bosses in a row you have to fight 3 elemental whispers 1giant whisper 1 whisper Bahamnet and sephiroth and if you get game over on whisper fight you have to start all over again 1. Matador Form Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne when I read online saying matador is infamous for been the hardest boss they weren’t kidding he is hard took me 4 game over he is hard ether you have darning or null force demons you can or over level to beat him

Just mentioning SMT4 on a least favorite bosses list gives me scarred flashbacks of dealing with Minotaur. "WALTER YOU IDIOT STOP SPAMMING AGI! Jonathan buddy pal you have Bufu an ice spell which is Minotaur's weakness can you be a good friend and ACTUALLY USE IT!"

I had an easier time with #3 than most. (I did play DE so take this with salt) I did die a few times and groaned at the sight of the nebulae but after switching to best girl and using cannon drones when they showed up it was actually pretty easy. The fights after that though, dickson aside, can go to the hell they were born from. (Though i only disliked master obart. Sure level yourself up mid-fight ruining my agility with dunban I don't mind)
