I literally said out loud at the beginning of the video how gnarly it would be to see an EJ swapped AWD BRZ and wondered why I hadn't come across any in the vast sea of vids I've watched. But "The HillClimb Monsters" provides. Plus that 2nd one was the Time Attack version of dreams. I would be curious to see what it could do at Nordschleife or Pikes Peak.

Man so many sweet Japanese rides in this. Great video bro. Been a fan of that Fensport Celica for years. At one point it made over 700hp on boost & 800hp on N²O. Their turbo AE86 is also a beauty. Damien's Legacy is killer too.

The last two cars are ridiculous... The time they made and the difference to previous car.... Insane, light years ahead. Also - 15:10 😵and the reaction of a car, what amazingly high must be the downforce to recover from that, that easily.

As much as I loved the RRG hillclimbs, been able to drunkenly roll out of my tent Saturday morning and sit in the door hole having a cig and watching the Quick 60 happen was incredible. Can't wait for this year.

I've seen that R8 before, but I don't remember it being so sketchy through the turns. I wonder if something wasn't quite right with the suspension or something... Great video, yet again. Seems like there are some great examples early in the video of why you shouldn't always trade away throttle response to make bigger power numbers. All that power might not help your times if you have to wait a second for the turbo to spool out of every corner. Also how good's that GR Yaris? Reminds me a bit of a Metro 6R4. And I'd love to see the Gobstopper 3 at WTAC one day.

Gobstopper 3 must go in Tsukuba and it will do some really impressive things there. Japanese people didn’t expect the FWD cars from WTAC to go there and destroy their best times. I’m sure there are plenty of crazy builds that can prove them wrong again

Do not underestimate that 4WD Fensport Celica at the start. It laps circuits as fast as GT3 cars. (often faster)

Even the track workers get a Project Gotham +1 for this effort. A weirdly capable and very accessible group of cars. Highlights include the 315ish front tired SPOOX entry almost under steered into a tire bale. The Legacy proves it's agility. The 1st BRZ is the only car that lock the rear brakes up going into the final hairpin. Still a great run. The monster of the meat has to be the Audi. It can comfortably fit another 300 to 400 hp. Probably not with that frontal surgery tho. Great video.

All these cars are awesome but that Celica is honestly super sick. The ST235 we never got. The 2ZZ's a great engine, but I always thought it would be cool to see a proper GT-Four with a 3S and AWD.

This may sound like a crazy idea...but imagine the WRC going into a formula somewhat similar to some of this hillclimb monsters (who are, many times, almost homemade by a couple of guys), but having the car manufactures involved. 500/600 hp like the rallycross cars. Would be cheaper, more spectacular...the Yaris here shown its a good example. But well, a man can always dream. I'm not crazy about nowadays wrc. 3 official teams? Come on...

Est pour les électrique il suffit rêcrait est du sound extérieur avec internet c est possible le bruit et important dans une caisse en extérieur et la les vente s envoleron sur sinon pourquoi on choisi des v8 v6 4 cylindres turbo et direct un echapement bha idem sur l électrique et ca va se vendre sans soucie lexus la fait sur une super cars mais seulement a l intérieure il faut qu elle est aussi en extérieur et ont pourrait même choisir sont moteur 2jz ou autre parce que les voiture sans bruit ca passe pas désoler ca reste une pile à roues non merci
