I think most of thr rx cars are 2.0s and over 600hp and I think there was some with the 1.6 making over 600hp they are crazy good with those engines

The SLK Judd V8 sounds like a Nascar race car with the X-Pipe exhaust hence the high pitch scream from the engine. If you look up footage from the mid 90's to 2006 you car hear the similarities.

Judd Benz at the end, not because fastest but the show the entertainment the car preformed, it's beautiful, loud, fast and the sparks was a cool touch, lots of fast nice car's in the mix, those lancer evos seem like they never disapoint

"RS3" LMS with a 2l 400hp 4 banger and FWD, what the hell is even that. Why would they ditch the 5pot and quattro?

I know they made the switch in order to meet class requirements, but replacing the RS3 5-pot with a VW 4-pot is bordering on blasphemy.. That being said, those RS3 motors are so desirable on the used market, they could probably pay for most of the cost of a blueprinted/race-spec EA888 with what they sold the RS3 engine for. Can anyone explain why they wouldn’t just use a Golf R to start with?

i've never watched DTM but now i'm asking myself : what's faster between a dtm car and a lmsgt3 car? the aero on the DTM looks hardcore and it looks like it far far far away from the road legal car

Gt3 is more like a normal car brought to the spec. Dtm is a prototype with a bodykit from a normal car

To answer your question, genuine DTMs like that Audi RS5 are fast, so fast that even GT1 class cars were slower than the DTM racers of the time. DTM these days use GT3 spec cars, but the Super GT racers are in a similar vein to what DTM was, especially the GT500 class as they have posted times at Fuji that’ll give even the LM Hypercars a run for their money. 😉

So I was curious and I tried myself on assetto corsa. My best lap in a gt3 car is a 2:18.3 with the old Audo R8 lms ultra, and I lapped in a (quite bad) 2:17.1 in the RS5 by (nammed T5 aura2015 in the URD mod)

Very few cars-drivers can compete with the combination of Reto Meisel and his SLK Judd, too pitythey did not participate in this race...

Only one I can think of in that class would be Schagerl + TFSI-R. Other than that, you'd need full on Formula cars to compete.

Judd stand for Judd, but yes, they did built F1 engines. As well as LMP ones. And a lot of people with vintage F1 cars nowadays swap Judd engines into them ;)

The Judd V10's were used in LMP cars, the V8's were used in F1 in the late 80's early 90's, the last iteration of the Judd F1 engines in F1 was the Yamaha V10 used by Tyrrell in the late 90's, it was a Judd/Yamaha affair, underpowered and heavy and uncompetitive at the time. When Judd focused on LMP that's when they saw success.
