Top 15 MOST DISAPPOINTING Games of 2024 So Far

2023 was a marquee year for video games, with the glut of amazing experiences released making last year one of the best ever for gamers. 2024 probably won’t reach those heights, but there’s been some fantastic games released thus far.
Of course, this year also has its fair share of disappointments too; games with tons of expectation either from being long- awaited, coming from an esteemed studio, or releasing in a lackluster state that requires more work from the developer to get it serviceable.
This feature highlights 15 such games, ordered from bad to worst. The order might be subjective, but we’d wager few will be surprised by our pick of the most disappointing game of the year so far.

I’m on game 3, another early access game. Is this list filled with early access games? Personally I don’t think games in early access should be on here. Clearly they’re not in a finished state yet to give complete criticism, but that’s just me.

I really don't think it's fair to add early access titles to "worst of lists". I do appreciate how each entry is justified but I just think it hurts the devs in an unfair way. Like I said though I do like how the you highlight the potential of each EA game to get better

Two games on this list are titles I can totally stand behind as NOT being "disappointing". Gigantic and XDefiant are doing exactly what they set out to do. It feels to me like you expected more out of those games than what they promised.

don't think u should include Early Acces games in that category and infact most of the Rocksteady including the 2 Co Founders left the studio and made a new one and now they are working with MS on a new AAA game

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is definitely my most disappointing game of the year so far, this was the one which made me want to get a next generation console in the first place. I hope that Rocksteady can redeem themselves with their next title and let’s all hope that WB don’t have too much influence on them this time around.

I actually enjoyed tomb raider 1-3 remastered and I don't know if I was just crap at gaming back then as was new to it or I'm just used to playing with normal controls now but it was definitely easier to beat the series as a kid I struggled to get past the 1st part of the 3rd game the tank controls were a lot easier this time but their were still some problems with jumping. I kindof switched between them at times.

Wait 🤔 … How is Body cam counted as a disappointing game when it is still in early access? Isn’t it disingenuous to compare Bodycam to completed and released games available for purchase? I’m sure Bodycam players had to buy knowing it’s in early access, but this video admits “it still has a long way to go.” How do you redeem that entry if, in fact, the devs - using this EARLY ACCESS period - to actually refine the complaints you list? At least compare like to like 🤷🏾 Good to know GamingBolt looks at early access titles as completed games. Guess I’ll have to rely less on your opinions of games as a result. For me personally...if i have to spend money on it, it's getting looked at early or not however they did prefix with it's in early access & could be fixed...i doubt it will but who knows

Some of the games on this list sounds like YOU didn't like them. Body cam is an awesome game that is breaking gaming ground. Plus it's early access so the content is still being created. You keep spitting opinions instead of facts you going to lose your followers.

This channel mixes up bias and objectivity for some reason. Like when they went out of their way to hard defend starfield as a near perfect game when many many fans and reviewers disagreed. Then they put games like body cam or rise of the ronin that are either still a work in progress but off to a good start, or a game that actually got similar reviews to starfield despite what some random people were saying in comment sections.

Suicide Squad sucked but Deadshot wasn't terrible at times and I do mean at times because aside from the cutscenes this is the only good thing i can say about the game
