The Chaparral 2J had a separate engine that drove the 2 exhaust fans in the rear of the car, that is what created the downforce that enabled it to generate over 1G cornering forces

Interesting, The same "fan assisted ground effect" tech Gordon Murray is using in his T 50 supercar & the banned Brabham F1 cars from the 70's - some cool cars here (&some crap ones too)

Wish they had added the purpose of the Ghost Car was to show off the newer safety features in the body design and how the windows and door locks worked . I believe if memory serves it had power windows and was show casing the inner workings of modern cars of the time

It is not that well known but the actual color of rubber is white so the tires being white that may have been the true color of a tire before they added dies or whatever to make them black.

You missed the main feature of the Chaparral 2J completely. Those skirts are to contain a partial vacuum created by that giant fan on the back, powered by a separate motor. It was outlawed quickly.

#15 and #11 are too cool love that small van (#15) sea roomy and practical as it only is 4 cyl good on gas but spacious maybe one could even use it as an RV and one only needs a screw driver to modify it blows my mind.. The one that's a bubble its way too cute live it but only going 28 mph is way too slow but love the fact it also is spacious but small and I'm sure great on gas . If I let they could create them to go at least 50mph and be safe aye? Poly carbonate windows and tinted for better safety..
