I love Tencel. I can’t wear any synthetics, so it’s a great choice for my hyper-sensitive skin. It’s also the best choice in the rayon family, which I can wear. Most fast-fashion viscose/rayon is very thin and low-quality, so it’s limp, wrinkly and puckers. But, high-quality, thicker rayons can be great.

Just to add the pleated barrel leg twill chino from cos is also great for anyone who’s 5’2!

What’s your typical inseam w/o shoes? I’m 5’5 w/a 30” inseam, meanwhile my 5’3 friend is also 30” inseam! 😅 I’ve learned height doesn’t necessarily indicate pant fit (length-wise), which is why I ask.
@AdelineLoke Жыл бұрын
Depends what length I want. For cropped length I go for 26" and then longer for floor length trousers. But you are so right! How tall/short you are doesn't dictate your inseam, it's always good to know your measurements. xx

Love this video. Finding trousers for petites is a nightmare. Just a question about the COS dark navy pants, wondering if you had the waist width of this? As it seems to maybe come up smaller than the size chart wondering if I should just go 1 size up to be on the safe side. Thank you 😊

I just measured and its approx 67cm. I hope that helps xx

"They are made for giants"" haha my same thoughts when browsing COS and Arket. Awesome video! Do you find the COS navy trousers really tapered? Because the description says tapered but it looks straight on the model. Thanks!
@AdelineLoke Жыл бұрын
It's true, haha. They are only very slightly tapered at the bottom, not hugely noticeable. xx

Thanks for this! As a petite person (5’2”) I find that lots of high waisted trousers come up to my ribs 😮 The struggle is real lol

I am not petite but still watching! It's interesting to say a comparison of fits. Those beige uniqlo not flattering in the crotch area, too much fabric.

im not petite, only 166cm. yet it's so damn hard to find trousers that are not hanging on my ankle. every pair I wore looked like cropped trousers. this video tells me which brand to avoid and buy. i have tried mango, they are great in terms of length. however, the quality is terrible. the stitching, hanging threads omg a nightmare. i have this one pair which i really like. constantly wearing them but after 1 year it looks awful. other pairs also just don't look great. cos is absolutely great on me!! the length and waist size are always spot on. but i could not purchase it all the time due to the high price. so i have to be very selective on the material and fit. uniqlo is good only if the style is a collaboration with designers. bcos their sizing is a lot more precise and i know which one fits me. if it was just size S, M, L, i had to go for L but the waist would be bigger, if M it is tight on me. what a nuisance. uniqlo would be my last choice

I think a good rule is to go for the best you can afford with whatever budget you have so I wanted to include a range of brands and prices x
