So I have time block to when I play game 1-2 hours. It works. It’s a time where wife or kids don’t ask me to do anything. It’s set on my dad scheduling lol. But then I just ass with so many other tasks. So find time if gaming help you relax and gain dopamine

I love my steam deck. As an old school handheld gamer. My mind was blown playing psp games after years of gameboy and ds games. Now its completely surreal to see these levels of games in the palm of my hands in these tiny consoles. Amazing stuff.

I personally use my Steam Deck for games that passed me by that i cannot get on modern consoles or are exclusive to pc. I do prefer playing on my PS5 or Series X but there are games i want to play that aren't on either console. I recently played through the first Trails in the Sky, also before they got a console release i played Final Fantasy from the Pixel Remaster collection. I'm currently playing Chrono Trigger which isn't on any modern console.

As a ROG Ally owner I love these list! Don't need a Ally list of games pushing it to it's limits! Steam Deck games run 3x better on the Ally and can run at lower TDPs, higher FPS and could save battery!

I recommend buying second hand, I personally have a series x, switch and steam deck. I still use my Xbox for a lot of more demanding current gen games as well as multiplayer games since the steam deck doesn’t fully replace that niche

Lowkey bangers for the steamdeck are the hyperdimension neptunia series if you like jrpgs. Games run perfectly, take up no battery, arent large file sizes, and can be found on key sites for like a dollar each, sometimes less.

I recently broke my TV. By putting an Xbox controller through it (sorta on accident). My SteamDeck is still alive even tho I play it all the time. It's pretty tough.

Yes i agree about ubi, they killed heartland for a game that had no following! Heartland would have pulled more money faster and longer than x defiance or first descendants, forgot which one was ubi.
