I think it is something simmilar to Halo series. Almost nobody has played Halo in Europe (especially in eastern and central). But they have played CS for 20 years. But in north america it is the other way around.

Path of Exile can reach 200k players pretty consistently, too bad it doesn't run well on the Steam client, so most players start playing on Steam but end up migrating to the standalone client.
