From looking up Beloved Rapture it looks less like a fantasy jrpg and more like an LGBT love story with JRPG mechanics. If you're into that cool but if the selling point is an intimate coming of age tale and the main story tag is LGBT themes, then the game is not meant for me as a straight person (as I'm sure multiple people are going to point out that not everything can be meant for you but then still complain when the demographic the game is meant for is not large enough to make the game successful)

The concept that you won’t play a “role playing game” if the character doesn’t look and act like you do in real life is fascinating. Yet, you expect that either 1) gay people should be okay with playing straight characters or 2) gay people should only play gay characters. In other words, you won’t role play as something you’re not, but you expect others to role play as something they’re not, or at the least you want all video games to be segregated to the demographics of their players. Try Chained Echoes. At the beginning you migh think that but it has a wonderful story that slowly develops, incredible designed world , soundtrack and fight system. A top5 alltime rpg happening for me on par with the best.

Unicorn Overlord is made by vanillaware(odin sphere) and atlus(ogre battle) and it's really looks to be a dream mix of those 2 games, it really gives me the feeling of playing a modern Ogre battle with Odin Sphere Artwork.

I still think they could add any other name to go with "Overlord", f*ck unicorn, but apart from that detail I'll definitely play it, it looks really good and the art leaves nothing to be desired when there's Vanilla Ware in the mix. The rest is skip
