Visited Torgon Switzerland 10 years ago and the surrounding areas and fell so in love with this country, I have viewed my pics of it a couple of thousand times since. a great documentation about fantastic places in Canton Vallese. I have visited all such places (climbing and hiking) as I have spent my childhood and 15 years working in Lausanne and for more than 15 years every week-end in Zermatt and other winter resorts in this beautiful Canton. I know the Canton Vallese from Val Ferret until Simplon and I have climbed more then 40 peaks above 4’000 meters in the Swiss alps. As I’m retired and also moviemaker for life events (blues and other concerts) and living in Lugano (Switzerland) for now more then 40 years I have really appreciated your great movie with high quality pictures and with perfect explanations and sub-titles. In my opinion a fantastic documentation.

Mehr Kommentare, und deshalb immer mehr Unbeantwortete; deine versuche ich aber immer zu beantworten. Das werte ich trotzdem als ein sehr gutes Zeichen, da die Leute sich mit meinen Videos auseinandersetzen. Ich hoffe bald auch wieder nach Asien reisen zu können. I have stayed in Haute Nendez and use travel by Bus From Sion I really enjoyed Sion , Briggs , Zermatt and also took a Train from Chur to Mount Blanc the Mount Blanc Express . Thanks for another great video. There are many places I have yet to visit... I have to agree, the Aletschgletscher is my personal favorite of Wallis as well. In 2019 I took the funicular to the Bettmerhorn and hiked along the glacier all the way to Märjela (with a quick detour down to the ice) and back to Fiescheralp through the tunnel. That was one of the most amazing hikes I ever did. The Gornergrat is fantastic too. I think I have to check Sion and the Martigny area out next time... My own honorable mentions: The amazing hike along the south ramp of the Lötschberg railway (Hohtenn - Eggerberg - Brig); Ernen and the Binn valley, Goms bridge at Fürgangen, Simplon pass summit (Simplon Eagle), Bettmeralp / Riederalp, Mattmark-Stausee / Saasertal, and Brigerbad for total relaxation :-)

I have been in Switserland many time both winter and summer. Unfortunately i could not visit all the places that you showed in your video, but some. Landed in Zurich. Thun, Kantersteg and Oeschinensee,Frugtigen, Lauterbunnen, Grindelwald, Lausanne, Geneva, Emoson Sion, Martigny, Verbier, Evolene, Arolla, Lac Bleu, Leukerbad (Therme), Leuk, Sierre, Brig, Zermatt, Saas Fee, Saas Grund, Simplon pass. Locarno, Vercasca Valley, Berzona, Lavertesso, Corippo few people there, Brione, Gerra, Frasco, Sonogno and in the Valley Maggia, ( have not se in your video series) Avegno, Gordevio, Maggia Coglio, Giumaglio Someo, Cevio, Linescio, Cerentino, Bosco / Gurin, Bignasco, Benzonio, Broglio, Lavizzara, Mogno, Fusio. Bellinzona, Airolo, Seedorf,Emmeten, Bekenried-ferry-Gersau, Vitznau, Weggis, Zurich Flughafen. I tried to go to Grimentz but the roads where closed and did not found a way up there. Thanks again! @@DjemoGraphic Si tu vas dans le bas Valais tu dois connaitre le village des Evouettes, à sa sortie côté Bouveret il y a un resto "Le Maguet", c'était dans le temps la propriété des parents de mon copain d'enfance, il s'appelait alors "les 7 nains". Il y avait une station d'essence et j'y passais toutes mes vacances. Depuis je suis allé pendant une vingtaine d'années l'hiver à Ernen pour le ski de fond.

Ja das ist wirklich sehr toll. Bitte unbedingt früh gehen. Die letzte Seilbahn zum Mont-Fort ist um 15:30 Uhr und die Seilrutsche möchte dann eigentlich schon um diese Zeit langsam Schluss machen. Du wirst das sicher sehr toll finden. Hoffentlich spielt das Wetter dann auch mit, wenn du dort bist.

Hello Djemo, I'm following your channel since covid started and I enjoyed each one of your videos. The information was very helpful for planning my next trip to Switzerland. One thing I can't figure out, which is the best starting point to ascend Mont Fort regarding parking, cost of cable cars, duration of ascend and best scenery. I'll be in Switzerland from Oct. 10th to 15th. Do all means of transport to ascend Mont Fort operate at this time?

שלום Thank you so much for following me for such a long time. You can park your car at the village below Verbier at "Val de Bagnes". In October it should not be busy I bet. But it may not be open daily. Maybe only on weekends? Based on MySwitzerland its open everyday but you better may email Verbier or Nendaz Tourism office to be sure

Love this!! I’m currently in Switzerland right now and was wondering if you have any tips to visit the Aletsch Glacier during this time of the year? Was checking the Lifts and the one up to Eggishorn is closed. Saw that you can take the lift up to Fischeralp. Any recomendations? Love from Sweden!

Hi Kimmy. November is a tricky month as it's off-season. Hiking is not great during this time. I have so far only been to the Eggishorn. It will reopen on November 29th on a daily base. Thats what I see on their website. If you cannot get a great view from the site of Valais/Wallis, then maybe the Jungfraujoch might be the only alternative. It's though more notably expensive. At least, now there aren't many tourists up there. Just avoid weekends!

I'm also a male and will be serving in the military or civil service, any insight on that? I have a place to stay at in Zurich.

Congratulations! So I assume you are of Swiss decendant since you applied abroad? I suggest once you are here learn to master German first, later try to speak Swiss German... HOWEVER: Do not get discouraged just because you are going to sound funny and your friends may giggle; that's normal. With about 2-3 years endurance, your Swissgerman will become nearly native in its sound. I speak of experience, my best friend of my studies did it this way and it worked very well! You are moving from where? For military service or civil service I'd say this will be a life school. You may find some of your best friends for life there.

@@DjemoGraphic I am from swiss decendant thanks to my dad! I'm moving from the states over. My dad is a bit older with him being in his mid 60s and he hasnt been back to Switzerland in roughly 30 years. I originally was going to Germany first just to get start my studies at the age of 22 (im starting much later because I was kind of lost with what to do in life) then thought it might be best just to get my military service out of the way and it will help me learn German and integrate into the culture. Im very thankful for my heritage and position I can be in. Thanks for the reply!
