My home water park of Soak City (KI) doesn’t have any water coasters, but I think The Beach, the water park that used to operate a few miles down the ride might’ve used to have one that I think I rode

I only got to ride Breaker’s Edge, I wanted to ride Typhoon but it was experiencing downtime like you said it usually did.

I now have a water coaster right by my home. I’ve always wanted to ride one because it combines water slides with my favorite thing on the planet, and I loved it. It had a super steep first drop and some pops of airtime, the turns were thrilling and it added some of those indoor tunnels where you swing back and forth. I wanna ride more of these. Personally I think a launch water coaster would be really cool, where the slide launches you into a hill. Thatd be cool

Only one I've done is breaker's edge. It was really fun, was much faster than I expected, but wasn't worth the near hour wait lol. Skyrush was a station wait all day so I mean it's pretty obvious what I'd rather be doing haha

Even with FastTrack, I had to wait almost 45 minutes for Breaker's Edge. The line on that slide crawled.

I’ve ridden river rush and I agree it has some pretty strong airtime for a water slide, but i like mammoth more for the same reason u do, it’s longer and those triangle hills give rly sustained airtime

If you ever come to Australia you have to visit Raging Waters for T5. Hands down the best funnel slide ever. In terms of watercoasters they only have The Breakers which is pretty short but still tons of fun

I’m so lucky to have my home water park as schlitterbahn new braunfels and I firmly believe it’s one of if not the best water park in the world so you should get to it sometime soon

You need to go to Splashway when you go between SSFT & SWSA and Kemah Boardwalk & Pleasure Pier. It has my #1 Water coaster and is adding several new unique slides that may become a massive destination in the next decade.

splashaway is really on the rise. It used to be one of the weaker parks. But with its last two additions plus the new one complex coming in 2022, those additions alone make it one of the best parks in a very competitive waterpark state

Out of these 15, I have only ridden the 3 at Splashin Safari. I had bad luck at SFNE & Hershey, and didn't even notice if Kentucky Kingdom had theirs open last August. I have ridden the one at Fiesta Texas, the one at NRH2O, the pathetic one at my home park Safari Joes H2O, the one at Volcano Bay, & the 2 at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels. Mammoth is easily my favorite, then Wildebeest or Volcano Bay's.

I don't think Deluge ran in 2020 (or it was just closed in both visits). A lot of parks kept their water coasters closed due to distancing concerns. That's why Hershey had their's closed in 2020.

Sadly I haven't ridden that many. I've only ridden Black Anaconda at Noah's Ark, Master Blaster at Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells, Crush n' Gusher at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and the Drop, Falls and Surge slides at Aquaventure at Atlantic Paradise Island.

I actually like that one the most. The reason I prefer that one over Black Anaconda simply because it doesn't use conveyor belts which can ruin it.

You should try the "Flyin Myan" rode it few times at chula vista resort waterpark when i was a kid, in wisconsin. Its a fun fast watercoaster. :D

5:07 Fun fact on one of my experiences on Deluge at Hurricane Bay, my mom was terrified by the first drop by its airtime that she grabbed on my neck as hard as she could as she felt she would fly out if she didn’t. So going down the first drop I was being strangled. It is after the drop happened and going uphill her brain realized that there are handles next to her and she was choking me. (So I wasn’t being choked anymore) She felt so bad about it when it happened and if I bring it up today, she’ll probably still feel terrible about it. Fortunately looking back on the memory I had a good laugh. Plus it is an achievement like no other on any attraction!

Splashin' Safari is a good one since all of their water slides are tube slides. Several don't even have a splashdown pool.

If you ever do get a chance to go to Schlitterbahn (New Braunfels) make sure you go to the Master Blaster first, as that ride can get up to a 4 hour wait depending on the day. Schlitterbahn in genuinely a really great park, and it’s possible both their water coasters would’ve ended up on the list. The Master Blaster and Dragon’s Revenge.

My fav is the Mega Storm in Caribbean Bay South Korea. It's almost identical with Falcon's Falaj but it has the tornado slide section in the end (You've probably seen the similar version at Yas). I've never been foreign watetparks but it's quite fun and you'll like it!

Crush and gusher has 3 slides which vary depending on the one you go on. Banana blaster is pretty much the longest though Coconut crusher and pineapple plunge offer bigger drops.

The one with the up-and-down segment not broken up by turns is my favorite.

@@CanobieCoaster That would be coconut crusher most likely. There is a particular section that has you go into a drop and as you go back up the jet gives you a touch of extra boost that sends you flying into the tunnel only to have it suddenly go into another drop followed by another boost of speed. Great effect though its also the shortest of the slides sadly. The others have slightly longer ride time but less oomph on the drops.

It’s not on the list, but Cutback at Water Country USA, though it lacks the air of some of the other slides on this list, is furiously paced and exciting, because it has multiple saucer turns

Personally there is one thing that ruins the ride experience for me on Wildebeest & Mammoth, which all the time in the tunnels you are getting sprayed with water in front of your eyes. The sharp spray of water from above through these moments really hurt my eyes while riding. I like to keep my eyes open when riding any attraction, but it is hard to do so for me while riding Wildebeest. Fortunately with Mammoth even though it has the same issue I stated, the fact you are spinning and can go backwards can make up for it. The spray isn’t as bad when it hits the back of my head instead of my eyes. I don’t remember any other water coaster I been on like Storm Chaser at Aquatopia or Deluge at Hurricane Bay having that irritating spray, but it could be a blurry memory. (Plus with my experience on Deluge, I was probably more focusing on breathing to the point I didn’t notice the irritating spray.)
