They suffered a lot in the past (50% of black enslaved during the colonisation were from congo). They are suffering now (more than 10 millions death because of the wars in Kivu for the Cobalt & Coltan). And because of their continuous population boom they will suffer in the future

Today European economies are dwarfed by china except america and the reason is american population is large enough that is why america is trying to lure in as many immigrants as possible and also encouraging people to have more kids . Similarly all developed countries know power of demographics and more population so they give child incentives to encourage more population today Japan is collapsing due to population ageing similarly china is regretting its policy and now has reversed 1 child policy and now has 3 child policy and is going to remove any limit fully in future
