Informative video but...the person speaking needs to learn to correctly pronunciate the cities to be more effective.

I lived in Guadalajara for 8 years before returning to the U S. If I didn't have a lot of health issues, I'd like to move back to Puerto Vallarta. Great beaches and a beautiful lifestyle all at Mexican prices. Don't forget the non-touristic town of San Blas in Tepic. A bit more rustic but we had a wonderful vacation there.

Check out Monterrey for health care, its the best city for private health care in Mexico and despite being private its much much much cheaper than the US for the same equipments and experience.

What about SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE..
@mariobruyere91693 жыл бұрын
Yes, I am surprised it wasn't mentioned. But let's face it: with such a large expat community, it has become a very expensive place. Back in 2017, I was shocked at the prices in the supermarket (Soriana and La Comer) compared to many other places I have visited.

Tulum is not in Yucatán it’s in Quintana Roo
@ExpatGenie3 жыл бұрын
I have to agree after checked again. I did more research and find this: Tulum is the site of a pre-Columbian Mayan walled city which served as a major port for Coba, in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo and also when search again ,Tulum is a town on the Caribbean coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. Thanks for the info, appreciated.

I have friends who built in Tulum about 7 years ago. It's changed so much since then they said and are trying to sell their home. It's losing it's charm and there's more cartel violence now. We've house sat 3 times and every times it's grown so much. It takes so much longer to go to the beach now. I'm not going back.

Most of the cities in this video are not safe. Sometimes, american people visit these cities for some period of time and they do not know of the what is really happening. All the names of the cities were incorrectly pronounced. Durango has a drug problem. Guanajuato is very closed to Irapuato which is the fourth most dangerous city in the world. Morelia is one of the most dangerous cities.

Tijuana is a nice border city despite the high crime. I was there for 9 days last month. I would recommend moving there because of the nightlife, nice beaches, and low cost of living.
@adrianagranadoz41692 жыл бұрын
I am Mexican and brown. Tijuana is scary as heck! I just go in for doctors appointments and get the heck out right away. I don’t even stay there fore a whole day. Don’t stand out because a cop will try to shake you down. It happened to me and I look like a Mayan.
