Top 18 Roblox Deathrun Maps

It's finally here. Over two months in the making, with Deathrun being a huge ass to me and other hurdles I had to leap over, I present you all with my biggest video to date.
Just like the traps video, this was an enormous pain in the ass to put together and more. Getting certain traps to play out the way you want is annoying enough, but being chosen as the killer for specific maps depending on where I was in the video was an absolute nightmare. After all of that, I'm never making another worst to best list.
Still, it was practically worth it just to entertain you all with my opinions on each map. I actually wasn't planning on releasing this for my birthday but after a lot of delays and the day getting near, I figured it would be a good release date.
Well, now with this huge video out of the way, I will continue with my Theme Park Tycoon letsplay and hopefully get started on my new series soon.

Also, I totally agree with galactic terminal at #1. It’s absolutely stunning and has a outstanding color palette. The music is awesome! I like that the lasers are orange. It balances out the cold color scheme! The best trap in my opinion is the first one. It’s very fun to jump across from the pla5roms when the lasers are activated lol

I took a long break from Deathrun and I was surprised when there was a new lobby. The new maps area really great but I still have a soft spot for Isla Louca, it was the map where i learned maps had items you could use like the green potion. Also, I really love Ancient Jungle, Ice Cavern, Training Course, and Castle Defense due to nostalgia.

Very good video... I have a video idea you can --steal-- use. Worst To Best Survive the Disasters 2 maps. [How it would work out] It would be on a 30 point scale. 10 points for Theme-ing [Originality]. 10 points for How well the the theme pulled of [Execution]. 10 points for how fun it is to survive. [Survivability]. You're free to take this idea fully, or you could add onto it. I wouldn't mind if you chose either option. (although I don't know if anyone else had this idea before)

My personal list: 19. Electricity Outpost 🤢 I WILL LEAVE THE GAME IF THIS MAP WINS THE VOTE. The traps aren’t fun to go through, they aren’t useful to the killer, and with the fact that they all suck, it is unbalanced as hell, and the ways they suck just hurt the balance even worse. There can’t be this many bad traps in one map! The length, although it’s not as bad as Isla louca, is too big, the map looks absolutely terrible (it sucks from the concept alone) and the music hurts my ears (Surely there was something that fits this map but doesn’t hurt your ears) I hope that cyberpunk central replaces this map. They’re similar maps, but electricity outpost would have to be pretty much the exact same if it were to improve, defeating the point entirely. 18. Gooey Gameshow I hated this map ever since I first played it. The traps are straightforward and easy, or they’re hard and unfun to go through. Meanwhile, as said in this video, IT IS ONE OF THE MOST DIFFICULT AND UNFUN EXPERIENCES FOR THE KILLER. And yet, the map’s color palette stands out beautifully, the music fits the map very well, and it’s not too big and broad. Though it’s ultimately derailed by it’s unfun traps and balance issues, but I at least enjoy it more than electricity outpost. 17. Safety First I’ve never liked this map very much. Only half of the traps are good, it’s balance is okay I guess, the last two traps are just unfun, and the music is very obnoxious. Yet this map is fun to play as runners and killer, it’s very detailed and aesthetically pleasing for what is basically a giant construction site, and the length is a bit big in some areas, but with the dynamic paths it doesn’t matter. Although this map is derailed by it’s music and last two traps, I’ll vote for it every once in a while. (Also I love the joke signs that they put up, like “WARNING, WE DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY” and “HANDLE WITHOUT CARE” I like to laugh at those) 16. Isla Louca Yeah this map isn’t very good, even if it’s not my least favorite. The map looks very boring, it’s way too big and broad, the traps are difficult for the killer to use, and the balance… it just has too many useless traps. And yet even with this, the traps actually work well with the theme, the music, although it doesn’t stand out, it’s just good, but there’s not much else to like about this map. 15. Ice Cavern This map is just eh. The traps, although mostly horrible in terms of function, can sometimes be fun to go through. The scenery, although it’s no ancient jungle, is quite pretty, even if not my favorite in the game. Although the music doesn’t stand out, it’s not bad music. The length isn’t usually too bad. But the balance is just eh. It fails in terms of trap function, killer gameplay, and although not that bad, balance. Regardless, I’ll still vote for this map if I feel like trolling. 14. Jurassic Volcano This map has never been one of my favorites. The traps are uninspired, unfun, hard to use as killer, and sometimes look terrible. The music doesn’t work well with the map, and the balance isn’t very good. The only places it’s good is three traps and the scenery. 13. Pirate Cove This one is my favorite of the maps I consider bad. Though this doesn’t change the fact that it’s unbalanced, too short, and the traps don’t work with the theme. Even with these issues, the music is good, even though not one of my favorites in the game. The traps are sometimes fun to go through. The scenery is good, but not among the best. The dead pirates replacing the hand is a great touch. Overall with gameplay, it’s fun to derail traps for the runners, and a rewarding challenge to win for the killer. 12. Poisonous Avenue This isn’t a map I find myself playing very often. It has a lot of bad traps, it’s (Although not as bad as other maps) slightly unfun and difficult to win for the killer, but is at least rewarding. But for the runners, the traps can be fun to go through and derail. The scenery is like ice cavern, no ancient jungle, but still good, and it works really well with it’s theme, and the music is great. Yet I still don’t find myself playing it very often because gameplay is rather mixed. 11. Mountain of Death This is another map I don’t find myself playing very often. The traps have good concepts but are total failures in terms of function. Balance is eh. Gameplay is rather mixed. It’s difficult and unfun for the killer, while runners can have fun playing, but dying on this map just makes it so that you can play but barely stay conscious, and the music just doesn’t work with this map. Yet the scenery is great, a mix between an improved Isla Louca and Jurassic Volcano. But the scenery and the good portion of the gameplay is all there really is to like about it. Two small details, but done so well they keep this from being in the bottom six. 10. Roman Oasis This is another map I don’t find myself playing often. In and beyond the colosseum, the traps just become boring. For the killer, the delays and RNGs make everything useless. Yet for the runners, it’s fun to play in the first half. The music is absolutely amazing. They went all out with the scenery. But the balance issues and difficulty keep this map from being in the top nine. 9. Jagged Junkyard Now we have the maps I really enjoy. Although Jagged Junkyard’s music is too quiet, everywhere else is just great. The traps are more or less rewarding for both sides, and the scenery is the best in the game for this kind of map. 8. Galactic Terminal I started out not liking this map very much for it’s bright lights, but I’ve started to focus on the architecture more and found out how aesthetically pleasing his map really is. The music is absolutely great, the traps are either fun to go through for the runners or fun to use as the killer. This map is great in all fields, but there are two maps in this area that I enjoy just a little bit more. 7. Castle Defense This map’s first half is better than the second half, and this map’s music is too calm for when you’re laying siege to a castle. Yet the gameplay in the first half and the scenery are done so well that it can even beat Galactic Terminal. It exceeds Galactic Terminal in gameplay (Only on the first half though) because rather than being either fun for the runners to go through or fun for the killer to use, it’s fun on both sides and even to a higher degree on both sides than galactic terminal. But there’s still a map in this area I enjoy more. 6. Training Course This was the first map I played on and I’ve loved it ever since. Admittedly there are bad traps and very bad balance issues, but it more than makes up for this with these next points: The music is beautiful, one of my favorites in the game and perfect for this map. The scenery isn’t the best in the game but is much better than many other maps with the sky landscape and the sunset. The gameplay is the best point though. The good traps are satisfying and rewarding to go through for the runners, and even more satisfying for the killer to score wipeouts or even end the round with. Meanwhile, the bad traps are fun for the runners to derail and rewarding for the killers to use correctly. Yet the balance issues keep this from getting in the top five. 5. Poisoned Sky Ruins Now we’ve reached the best area. This map has even better sky scenery than training course, and it has a color palette that beautifully stands out. The music isn’t one of my favorites in the game, but it’s good anyways. The gameplay is rather mixed though. Traps can be fun to go through and derail for the runners or they can be satisfying for the killer. There’s not much more to say though. It’s just a good map. Yet there are some maps I enjoy a bit more. 4. Pinewood Hideaway This is one of the best experiences for the killer. The traps have weaknesses, but runners rarely know about them. Then for the runners, it’s simply a fun map. The music is great like poisoned sky ruins music, but it’s better with that way of being great. Then the scenery is the best point. It’s almost as good as ancient jungle or fiesta coastland scenery, but even not being at that level it’s still some of the best in the game. However there are three maps I enjoy more. 3. Surface Escape This map doesn’t have very good scenery, and the music is just bad, but even with these major flaws, it completely outdid itself with gameplay. It’s a fun challenge for the runners, and a satisfying bloodbath for any competent killer. The first trap is more fun for the runners admittedly, but it can still kill rushers and maybe even cause a wipeout. The second trap is more fun for the killer to use because there’s a point of no return, but the runners can still have fun tempting fate. The third trap isn’t noteworthy at all other than how common runners always die at it because they think there’s a blind spot. Then any good killer will know that the minecart isn’t very good on it’s own, but the third trap can be used as a distraction, and if activated right after the fire trap, runners might walk right in front of it and have their round end unexpectedly. It’s difficult to pull off, but very satisfying if it works. The next trap there’s nothing to say about. The flooding cavern is best for messing with common runners and making the spinners more effective. Then the surface is where it’s the best. The boulder can be derailed because there’s a blind spot, it’s very difficult to pull off, but very satisfying and rewarding. Wind traps are generally good, and the bomb is satisfying to derail for the runners and satisfying to exploit for the killer. Yet there are still two maps I enjoy a bit more. 2. Fiesta Coastland 1. 31:09 Actually it’s a great trap. Too good if I’m being real, but I see why you say it sucks. As great of a trap as it is, killers always screw up with it. However, it is a bit too good in the right hands. (Hint, wait until they’re at the middle of the trap, because then only lag being on their side or a delay in it going off could save them) Edit: Today, this trap is broken. My strategy is now ill-advised. 30:16 It is THE best trap in the game. The problem is, killers never know the right activation. Yet a tricky killer only needs to rely on one runner jumping off the last platform and then bodies fill the divot beyond count.
