Don’t lose any more fish - it’s time to END these common lure rigging mistakes!!!
I see advanced anglers make this error all the time.
The techniques in the video cover any type of soft plastic lure.

Not many people get the first half of rigging lures wrong, it is once the plastic reaches the collar of the jighead that we run into an issue.
Once you get to that point before the barbs on the jighead, most people force the lure up and over the barbs.
It is nearly impossible to prevent your soft plastics from tearing as you take them on and off of hooks.
But, what we can control is WHERE the tear happens.

Thank you, team! I have a question that I'd like your input on please. I absolutely love these lures, and there are a few others on the market that are of a similar style, and I enjoy using those at select times as well. All of these lures are shrimp imitations, and they have bulbous eyes, just like Power Prawns. Do you think it makes much of a difference if you color the eyes black with a Spike-it braided line marker? I tried it on Thumper Shrimp at the Skyway Pier, and when I colored them, the smaller fish kept eating the eyes off of them, but it didn't happen near as often when I didn't color them. When used as Sebastian Inlet and Ponce Inlet, it didn't look like the eyes were pecked at once. The lure is obviously still effective regardless, but I'm curious if you have any insight on this minor detail when targeting larger, predatory fish.

I have tried some other shrimp lures that came with the eyes painted, but the paint would wear off after a few catches so I ended up having many use cases of the same lures fished the same day with both black eyes and non-painted eyes, and I could not tell a difference in catch results with the eyes painted vs. non-painted. So I don't believe it's worth the time to paint the eyes (if the fish were examining the lure that closely, they'd surely see the hook sticking out of it).

Looks like 3/8" not 3/4". Agree that 1/8" would tare easily.
