Thanks for list. Having The Long Halloween so low and below some objectively worse films (..Harley Quinn, …Batwomen, Gotham Knight) is baffling to me. It’s like saying The Dark Knight is worse than Suicide Squad (the first one). Bad taste.

Phantasm and Red Hood are both top notch. I’d probably go for Red Hood. I think nostalgia heightens Phantasm for many but it’s still great. Red Hood, Dark Knight Returns parts 1&2 and Long Halloween are probably my top 3. Phantasm in top 5 though.

Mask of the Phantasm is the perfect number 1 Batman animated movie. With Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill as Batman and Joker, the music, Kevin Conroy showing Bruce’s vulnerability, corruption of the councilman and Bruce willing to give up his promise. RIP Kevin Conroy this is one of your best work as Batman.

I think it's safe to say that Batman probably has more of his own movies than any other DC superhero, Which wouldn't surprise me considering that Batman is one of the most popular DC superheroes! I especially love that some of these Batman movies are crossovers, Batman Vs TMNT, Batman Vs Dracula and Gotham By Gaslight are 3 of my all time favorites!!!

Happy to see The Batman vs Dracula, this movie is so underrated. Use the character of dracula and his ability pretty well and surprising use more blood than expected. Is not a top Batman animated movie but is a good one.

Batman and Harley Quinn is a guilty pleasure for me. Melissa Rauch is awesome as Harley, getting to hear Rob Paulson sing is an unexpected delight and Kevin Conroy RIP as always crushes it as Batman. And for the record, Mask of the Phantasm is the best Batman film!

Agree for Batman Ninja but Batman Killing Joke animated movie was awful it took one of the best comics and adapted it horribly especially with the unneeded 20 mins intro of Batman and Batgirl having sex because Bruce Timm always had that fetish :/ another terrible adaptation was Batman Hush with the plot twist that ruined the movie

Something you didn't mention that I think does elevate the cool factor of Assault on Arkham, is that it is set in the Arkham universe (or at least a version of it, given that the new SS game casts some doubt on that) with every returning character except Harley appearing in their iconic designs from Arkham Asylum, and several locations being lifted directly from the game and perfectly translated to 2D animation. It doesn't elevate it to the height of some of the heavy hitters further up this list, it still makes it cooler.
