Totally agree about AEW being like a continuation to the East Wind campaign.We grow to love the places we spend so much time in ArmA 3 campaigns that's why we want to know what happens after the campaigns.After East Wind is exactly that.

Nice, I especially liked the rabbit in the AH-64 segment ;) I'd also note that the CWR3 additional packs are fantastic, especially the British Armed Forces one that finally brings the Chieftain, Scorpion and other Cold War vehicle assets back into ARMA

How fitting that this video pop up just as I've been spending the past few hours combing through, thinning up and modernizing my mod-list. I took a break from Arma for about a year and a half, and it's pretty amazing to see just how active the modding community continues to be. With how modern warfare tactics have changed in recent years, it's pretty interesting to see what the community has been up to. Still waiting for a quality SOC-R mod though :(

RHS is such a classic man. Some of the textures still look a little rough around the edges and I wish all the armored vehicles had modeled interiors but other than those two gripes, it is my favorite modern equipment mod to play with

Really specific choice. Seems that you don't play real world scenarios too often as it seems. I mean most of your favorite mods are from let's say it "Fiction list" of armies that don't exist. I can't help to catch your enthusiasm about jets since I never sit in one for more than 20 years of playing the arma, you seems to be a pilot, and a good one it seems. cold war rearmed is fun but often the triggers dont activate and missions do not progress , and at this point (arma3) you can really see how the missions were designed with a very different game and system in mind (cold war assault) , in the mission where you have to attack chapoi and destroy shilkas i had both cobras knocked out by some random bmp which makes the mission almost impossible to complete

Aegis, and the associated mods like Atlas, Athena, Revolucion, etc. definitely belong on this list. They're 2035 based but they add multiple new factions, new weapons, new vehicles, aircraft etc all at BI quality. If AEW makes this list (and it should), Aegis definitely belongs here.

But in the context of the new stuff for the game, it seems to me that you forgot to mention the unique "3CB Faction" mod, since not one of the mods you listed, and no other mods no has 120+ hight quality factions! I've never met, and probably won't meet again, a mod with so much factions...
