cold war rearmed is fun but often the triggers dont activate and missions do not progress , and at this point (arma3) you can really see how the missions were designed with a very different game and system in mind (cold war assault) , in the mission where you have to attack chapoi and destroy shilkas i had both cobras knocked out by some random bmp which makes the mission almost impossible to complete

I am surprised about the severe lack of decent WWII flight sims. Like there isnt any modern games outside of say Combat Flight Sim 2 from 2000 that has decent WWII Pacific War missions. Like Battle of Coral Sea, Midway, Guadalcanal campaign, Philippine sea, Leyte Gulf, Saipan, Guam, Iwo Jima, Okinawa etc.

If Arma 4 has a campaing it absolutely needs to be available in coop, let's not kid ourselves most people playing arma play it for the interactions with multiple players. I mean look at SOG prairie fire's campaing, the storyline is just the vietnam war itself but it's still a banger because you can do cool SOG shit with your buddies.

Also artillery mechanics are pretty interesting (without computer)

Back after 4 years with 900 hrs in. This helped. Looking for mods to assist with mechanics and looks, but I see all the old ones are still doing the rounds!

One thing I would definitely add is that we should be cautious about deleting profiles. If you delete a profile, you will lose everything you have created in that profile, including scenarios, saved data in progress, settings, key configurations, etc.

Why not just fly In DCS?

Honestly, I'd appreciate it if it was just A3 with updated graphics and decent AI (those bots are STUPID). I love the editor, the maps, the units, etc...
